I knew that it is a very powerful camera (that's why I chose it) and I also knew that Olympus is famous for their complex menu settings. I like how you show your camera screen from the background and that's really helpful. I also like that you pointed out everything you did with every little settings and the reasons behind it. I have recently added a PEN8 to my E-M1 mk1 & 2 but I still find your tutorials on other Olympus cameras useful and above all, I always learn something new, even after 3 years with the OMDs.
Today I learned that after using the touch screen to move the focus point, you can hit the "off" and go back to my home setting - I hadn't even noticed the "OFF" option pop up!
So, many thanks and please keep going, your style and pace are perfect for users at all levels.

Thanks, Bob! I'm always learning something new. The touch screen off thing is new for me too. I think you'll like the PL-8. Olympus limited many of the features, but at least it still has full manual control and Live comp.

Hi Rob, I just brought an E-M10 Mark ll after using a Canon Powershot for years. Thank you so much for your tutorial, I learnt so much , look forward to more.

I used reflex canon for fifteen years. Then I decided to move to Olympus for other reasons and this was a hard and painful choice. The new menu was difficult to understand, then I found this channel on youtube. Thank you Mr. Trek!

Hi Rob, thank you very much for your videos! They’re extremely helpful and are my only ‘go to’ tutorial videos about this camera which I’ve recently purchased. I don’t see much difference between SF jpg and the raw images. Talking about the two differences would also be very helpful. I look forward to more videos. Anything I know about this camera is from you. Thanks again for sharing!
Thanks! You won't see much difference between jpg and raw, especially if you get the exposure correct. However, raw has a flexibility in exposure and color that allows you to be more creative and fix problems.
This is brilliant, thank you. I've had my camera for a few months now and have been messing around a bit with it - but not really understanding what I'm doing. So it's hit and miss whether I get a good picture, unless I'm in Auto! I've read other stuff and looked at other videos, but no-one has explained it with such clarity and meaning for a beginner. So thank you very much for that. I'd love to see many more of these tutorials please :)
