I have a feeling this was a rights issue. When Stanley Parable came out Mojang was likely fine with it. However, after Microsoft bought Mojang they likely didn't allow for it to stay in the game for the Ultra Deluxe version.
Leave it to Botan to play the game like a QA tester on the first playthrough, lol Even in something as meta as The Stanley Parable there's a pretty low chance that random door #27 will open the fourth time you run past it, but that doesn't stop the gaming lion from trying
Just watching Botan be so immaculately kawaii and respectful while playing the Stanley Parable is just such a nice treat when winding down for bed. However... Seeing as she's pressing Jim button as much as possible, jumping over and over into the Infinite Hole; questioning the Reassurance Bucket, but still not judging it harshly -- all the while the Narrator is getting touchy and indignant with her; it's like watching a bankrupt toymaker lash out at a child, without even realizing that the child is one of the first to play with his toys in a long time, and is genuinely experiencing joy... ... and it makes me ANGRY. I'm going to re-install the game, get the Not Stanley Ending, and make you SIT THERE, Narrator. For hours. Maybe even days... Because if you can't even be bothered to humor the probability of someone genuinely enjoying your content, then you need to be left with only a player-less husk, and your thoughts... until you learn to be grateful.
