I always find it funny how Botan has the sort of classic “cool girl onee-san” appearance that radiates tough girl energy, yet the moment she starts to talk, that just goes out the window and she’s just as cute and goofy as the others.

TBH I don't think it's that uncommon. Most people in my experience that idle too long while intoxicated get sleepy/pass out. Regardless, can't say I blame her for not drinking. Alcohol ain't cheap, and it's not necessary for a good time with friends.

The fact her avatar got stuck in a smug position while she was sleeping was peak Botan-ness.
Probably passed out, then something in her consciousness told her she was still streaming and it jolted her awake. Had that happen once at work.
Experienced the same. There are times when you really, really need to do something despite being drowsy, and your brain manages to get into this mode where it lets you sleep for a few seconds before it slaps you awake itself.
I find it funny that Botan is weak to alcohol while Lamy is a literal drunkard.

Given her words, her tolerance to alcohol is bae level, for context this entire stream she was planning sips and about half a glass total. In comparison taking the bae example, calli and bae had a room review, bae was drinking beer and calli straight wiskey, bae was sounding sloshed before her first beer was done, calli was sounding at most tipsy. If botan and lamy were to do similar I'd expect a similar result.
Me too, I wonder if it wasn't health related and was maybe related to something else? Or maybe the health problem was only temporary? Not too sure, but I'm all for even cuter botan.
