These guys continue their climb… the creativity and energy last night was insane. I have no idea how they top it tonight (and they will; they always do)
He changes his voice all the time. When he does Pearl Jam, he locks in on the tonality of Eddie Vedder. He also on Yall Come, goes full Hill Billy. He has mastered control of all strings, including his vocal strings. Amazing human being. A joy to all who listen.
@@dantheman719 it makes perfect sense he started when he was four and he had a great father who loved him... then again there is that 33 on his arm so you know Mason's and all that...
Sorry, not a fan. Never would I imagine this song played with a banjo or at this pace. You can't take any song and give it this treatment simply because these are the instruments and musicians you have on hand. Quite a few sour notes too. This audience was really hungry for live music I guess.
I'd go out on a limb and say this guy can do whatever he wants with whatever he wants, song wise. While I'm also not really a fan of the treatment, until I start selling out civic centers for three nights in a row, my opinion doesn't really matter.
Having grown up to this music and liking Hendrix's version the best, I gotta say this kid and his band are a national treasure. He and the band are wonderful musicians keeping the "spirit" of the 60s alive. Just watched him sit in with the Allman Betts band on "Midnight Rider" and do a cover of the Dead's "Wharf Rat". Crushed them both.
I lost my face twice. Best. Show. Of my life

Wow! I'm thinking Maybe Billy has been down to the crossroads.
Billy's got a bit of Bob Dylan in his voice.... 😁
I partly agree, I think he has a bit of Dylan in his soul 👍🏻

This is better than the entire season of Rings of Power. 🧙♂
Billy just keeps outdoing himself. Just when it seems impossible.
you can only be this good if you sell your soul to you know who.
