Because it’s mostly common to see people with atleast a master’s degree apply for NIW and rare to see people with just BSc make many to think possessing an advanced degree is a MUST. In truth, based on the guidelines, consistent experience in a related field of endeavor can compensate for the advanced degree requirement. I know someone who is currently a PhD student in the US without any previous master’s that just got his NIW approved. You may want to read the guidelines and properly update your audience

Yes, some schools designate this program as STEM

If you have STEM OPT it does buy you time. You can also go back to school to maintain status while waiting for NIW
