Thank you for posting this video and for the link to the other video that discusses the engine start sequences. I was able to use it to figure out that the problem my wife’s 2010 x3 was having is due to a fashion crystal ring that she installed right on circle that the key would go into. It was blocking the signal from the key to the car. This is why I wasn’t hearing the start clicking if it was bad it would at least click. My fuel pump was still making the pressure noise it should make.
Holy crap my wife’s X3 wouldn’t start last week just afterwe loaded it up to go on a trip, ended up having to rent a car. Started going through it to diagnose the problem and took a ton of stuff apart checked through everything it could be and read dozens of posts and watched dozens of videos the read your comment. Sure enough she put one of those stupid crystal rings around the the ignition that morning before we left. All good now thanks to your comment.
@@gdaddylogan yeah man, glad I can help. Sorry you had to rent a car and take stuff apart. I couldn’t believe it when it started after I removed the circle link and it started back up. Told my wife that Vanity has its price (which husbands usually pay lol)
