| Italy advanced to 5-6 at the 2021 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League with a four-set win over the Netherlands.
Here's the reaction after the game, from the virtual Mixed Zone:
Fabian Plak (The Netherlands): "Italy played a great game. They have a lot of talents on their squad. We were not able to give our emotions and energy, especially in the first two sets, but yesterday it had been a tough game against France."
Alessandro Michieletto (Italy): "I'm very happy that we won this difficult match. Nimir also played and he is a top player. Today we played very good volleyball and we are very happy about this victory, but tomorrow is another match and we have to focus on it. We served very well and I think it was the most important element in our game."

Ja. Nederland komt op de meeste posities helaas te kort om internationaal mee te kunnen doen. Zeker het midden is, met alle gepaste respect voor spelers die veel beter zijn dan mij, gewoon matig. Aan de andere kant: gezien de enorme terugloop in mannelijke volleybal spelers over de laatste jaren mogen we blij zijn dat er überhaupt nog een team staat. Als kikkerlandje doen we toch mee.
