  • Tay was fortunate enough to be invited to judge an event hosted by the American Welding Society here in our home town of Roanoke Virginia, where local students all came together and submitted metal art pieces to win some substantial prizes!
Even as millenials here at Lift Arc, we still worry about the younger generations ability to fill the needs of the welding and fabrication industry here in the USA. However, this experience has restored our hope in the next generation! Seeing so many passionate and talented kids submit such amazing projects was truly inspiring!
    Thanks for watching!

Wow. Those kids are far more talented than half the people I know that call themselves welders. Great to see the older generation trying to reach out to younger generations

Fantastic, I’m one of those old guys that really wants to bridge that generational gap. I take ever opportunity that comes my way to engage with the youth…I wish more “old guys” would. So many talented young people!

Tay, what an honor to be able to bridge a monster sized gap. As an engineer and blacksmith I truly wish I had that kind of experience. Might have changed my path. Love your channel, envy your opportunities!

It never Ceases to amaze what people see and then trans form from pieces of metal , nuts, bolts and bits of bric a brak and the capabilities to make beautiful pieces of art.
    All very different and stunning.

I started to do mechanical engineering technology at 18 and I'm glad that young people are interested in these kinds of things. I can't wait to start my own work shop.

    That octopus is so cool,
    My wife absolutely loves it.
    Any chance it's for sale?
Otherwise it will be inspriration for me to attempt to recreate it.
Please pass on my wife's and my admiration to the artist, if possible.
