I have the k10 hightrail all the upgrades you can think of are done and your right it was always to tall to really crawl so I took the stock 120mm shocks off and put 100mm desert lizard shocks on it and 1.9 hyrax with a set of treal beads massive difference still has the long arm’s on it and it has a ton of articulation thank me later
I 'tested' all the functions on my K10 in the house when new, but its maiden voyage was NOT until some similar brass was in place to counter the innate top-heaviness. Saved a lot of unnecessary scratches.
Great Job with the weight addition, can’t wait for the next upgrades. I got the steel front axle for mine and going to add some portal weights that will work but I think I will have to add a servo to. ✌🏽
Luv your content! Question, what brand did you go with for your brass upgrades.I recently bought some brass accessories from “yeah racing” and absolutely loving the changes it made to my f150.
Oh yes,and 80g outer portal covers to front and 13mm hub extensions,im pretty sure those 118mm 1.9 super swampers will still have enough ground clearance
@@hellorc7678 yes im aware that servo will probably die because i trail in woods, tractor tracks, so now that it winter season, snow next 4-5months, ill buy new servo to wait untill original gives up
Thanks for your real world experience. I’ve been doing some research and that seems like a good motor for this type of setup. I have the same truck - ford - in the same color. I enjoy the videos!
Really nice. Ive pre ordered mine around march 2023 here in Australia. Apparently it should be dueblate April to early May this year ( 2024 ) i cant wait but its really been an ordeal. There was a shipment in August 2023 that got turned back at the Port of Melbourne due to a trace amount of asbestos from slipper clutches being found so the entire shipping container eas sent back to Traxxas in China. Damn but that was only on vehicles that use a slipper clutch, possibly by a bandit or slash or something 2 WD that uses slipper clutches. Anyway soon. 👌👍 Your rock garden crawling course is AWESOMENESS 👍💪
What a bummer! Glad another is on the way! And I had no idea asbestos was in the parts lol I'll have to wear a mask 😅. And Thanks for the corse compliment!! Going to get better and better this year. Lots more materials are here😀

I have the same brass upgrades on my f150 and also added 20mm brass wheel spacers. That makes a lot of difference and it looks awesome!
Just snagged one of these off ebay can't wait to upgrade it completely
Awesome!! Idk why there is such back order lol

Great run Jason that has to be my favourite of the heigh trails still not available in Australia those tyre's work well on it 👊
Great 👍👍👍
Finally got the Black F-150 and am installing the pro light kit and crawler light's and of course the rollbar 😂 what a great truck

That looks gorgeous.
That's some good weight. 👍👍😎😎
Those tires are more scale looking than Proline 1.9 BFG Krawlers. Block size is just rite.
amazing details on that F150 🤩
Greate job and nice footage. I really like the Crawler County, rc park !! ❤
Thanks
A lil late to the party , but we wheeled our 1:1 mud trucks way before the crawly thing got present .

I got sport high trail, i just ordered 1.9 with super swampers to test if lower cog makes diffrence

It will be good but you'll definitely notice a strain on your stock steering servo. Have fun with it!

If I only change the tyres, what is the maximum size I can put?
How wide are those tires?:)
I just had my motor fail in mine climbing. I’m thinking it might get the axe 550, any thoughts?
We have the axe 550 in the k10 and it is awesome. Great choice!
