Funny story my other timing video on this car I did have it 180 degrees off. So the slots on the end of the Cam for the timing plate are offset if you get the plate in there you're good. You cannot get the timing plate on if you're 180 degrees off.
Funny all I have on my is damage chain tensioner but some how still do the same thing sound like the chain still hit the valve cover what I did wrong? Please know is been while but if any body can help please thanks

Easier to remove engine to do it
do the cams have any marks on them? can you get them upside down?(180 off)? doing one now, thx.

No crank key way , no cam key held together by bolt torque, biggest shit ever
I would have to agree, couple of little things could have made life easier. I would definitely take a crank key over a friction washer.
