I actually love it, I’ve only heard it done for very iconic songs that literally EVERYBODY knows, or for whenever the said artists hasn’t played a live show for a long time, for example: twenty one pilots went to South America for the first time in like 5+ years and people in the crowd were singing Melodys to songs like jumpsuit, it was so amazing
