I mean these girls are part of an entirely new branch, what that entails could be anything, I'm glad they have some kind of lore even if it's mostly just tidbits but yeah they definitely strike me as INNK 2.0 and Suichan and AzKi both had little to no lore, any lore they have now has been built around them through streams and their music so that could be something the ReGloss girls could do 🤔

Let's be honest here, guys. Cover Corp is pretty bad at producing male talent compared to Nijisanji. Instead of entering the male vtuber market, I think they should just focus on growing the female talents. If they really want to expand their audience, I think they should try exploring more tomboy characters. Tomboys have the feminine charm that the male audience likes and the cool masculine personality that the female audience might enjoy. Hiodoshi Ao is a step in the right direction in my opinion. She has a cool ikemen design going on so I hope she also has a smooth-talking tomboy personality to match it.
It isn't because of them being bad producing male talents. It is that most of Hololive from the talents to the fan base don't care about Holostars. If people really cared you would see their viewership be much higher and more SC. But every single one of Holostars talents have stagnated. None of them have any growth. They are at the bottom of the barrel in merch sales outside of limited merch. And the fact that practically most of their collabs are outside of Holopro is an indication that most of Hololive are not interesting in collabing with them.
@BattlefireTV I disagree. Holostars shouldn't be dependent on the fan base of Hololive. Those should be two separate markets. Female vtubers should target male audiences while male vtubers should target female audiences. You shouldn't expect the predominantly male audience of Hololive to like watching male vtubers. So yes, it is a fact that Cover is bad at hiring male talents because Nijisanji has shown that it is possible for their male talents to be wildly successful, even more so than Hololive's female talents.
@shubashuba9209 except nijisani top vtubers are males. They have one of highest viewerships and SC for vtubing on TH-cam. Both males and females can be in the same market if the fan base allows it. And the fact is this whole "not dependent on Hololive" doesn't seem to work considering again, they have stagnated.
Youre just d*mb didnt you see Nijisanji viewership ratio its almost 60% female while Hololive like 90+% male. Its not about bad(producing male talent wtf is this k-pop?) its also about visibility and intended audiences. Why do you think thousands of indies still barely getting 100+viewers its not because theyre bad its because alot of people dont have the patience to get attached to them(unless you force yourself to watched them long time to get attached). With holostars like i said hololive got 90+% males and getting outside audiences is a hard task just like how indies are doing getting new audiences, and trying for Niji females audiences to jump ship is like trying Apple users to jump to Android theyre already into their ecosystem you cant expect them to jump ship that easily the same can be said to Holo audiences jumping ship to Nijisanji. Alot of Nijisanji and Hololive audiences already in their respective rabbit hole getting out of that hole and at the same time doing your normal life is a hard task for many fans (fans were like "why would i watched others when im already so occupied with this group and my life"). In short Holostars need to get outside audiences(hololive 90+% males) while Nijisanji males didnt need to because their audiences have already 60% females.
