  • Clean grout lines, before grouting. I have found the fastest, easiest, and best way to clean your grout lines using an oscillating power tool. This will remove broken plastic tile spacers, plastic wedged between tiles, mortar and thinset overflow. This is the safest way that will not damage your tiles, clean your grout lines completely, prepare your tiles for grout. Follow DIY Beach, for more tips on home improvement projects!

Are people this stupid? It did damage tile. Look at video where "cleaning" up. It ate a hump in the upper edge where cleaning.

Works for 1/8 joints. Can't find any 1/16 blades for 1/16 grout joints. Most tile in showers have 1/16 joints.

As a DIY novice but still love tiling, I get the thinset/mortar gush frequently…I use a cordless Dremel (Stylus is my favorite) with a 1/16 round Diamond bit to clean out the dried grout and a plastic putty knife and magic eraser to clean up sloppy mortar on the tiles…just have to go slow & make sure it follows the grout line, and be gentle on the tile surfaces with the putty knife & magic eraser

LMAO!!! What a joke? Seems only people who don't actually work post videos. Removal of the thinset is quite easy. Simply wet it with a sponge and cut it out with a utility knife. This video has me and my co-worker laughing our arss off. Thanks for the comedy.

Easiest way to clean grout off the tile and cracks is to wipe it off when its still wet. Knock off your level clips the next day and you shouldn't have any that break. Ones that do break cut them with a utility blade.

Yes, thank you. I'll look in my bag, I should have one. Watched 3 videos that say use a razor blade. My little diamond hand tool takes a while and is worn so looking for new ideas.
    Thanks
