To be honest so far in the campaign she's only had a few moments of notable conversation. The player is missing a lot and the character is still a bit reserved at this point. I'm not dissing btw, some characters take time to warm up to the group instead of instantly being talkative, several of mine have taken a while.

I love this party and how they go about combat and banter. Kim sarcastically says to a cleric as a player is downed ‘you could heal.’ Also Kim whilst party is in the same encounter ‘lemme go for a swim and check this wall’
He is good. But he isn't great. He makes encounters either way too deadly to his party or way to easy. (Either they more or less steam roll the fight or people drop everywhere) he gives the illision of choice but has for the most part railroaded the group. And when they went into the abbey mark already had decided he wanted them captured. (There was no conceivable way they could have succeeded). I'd mostly enjoy the game with him as GM but I'd probably say something at that part.
@@animewarrior3 It's only an hour. Just watch it and if you still think he 100% railroaded them to climb the tower and jump from the building instead of doing literally anything else, then I'll leave you alone.

The party could have waxed all the abbey members, They could have all died. If Vala hadn't succeded in her solo mission (which she almost didn't) she would have died and the whole portal redirect to Starbane wouldn't have happened.
I think it's down to Mark not knowing the character well enough to confidently role play her. I've done similar things when one of my players can't make it.
These guys are just revealing world shattering information without a care in the world. When will it come to bite them I wonder? Next time, discuss stuff in a private hotel room/suite or something, pretty please? Great episode as always, and great fun to watch.

Let's be honest, probably not a coincidence. Most of these things have direction and where better to take inspiration from the mountains of legends and lore from Norse and Greek mythology (and of course loads more cool shit from all over the world).

I love water levels in games, mostly because in most games no matter what level you are, you have very few options of what you can do to overcome the challenges of combat and breathing.

She should have had just a normal flat roll because the advantage and disadvantage should’ve cancelled each other out, thus her roll would have instead been the initial 23

Language would absolutely fall under intelligence over wisdom. A wise person is not necessarily a master linguist after all. Besides the player is not here, so etiquette would generally dictate the DM should not b putting words in character's mouth more than necessary.
Man, I definitely hope they bring Sentry back to the prime instead of reincarnating her, I dunno, that's just what I feel would be right, but who knows?

Why it seems that Qillek doesn't understand to get himself medium armor? Don't know which he was first Bard or Cleric, but it doesn't matter as either way he would have Cleric's medium armor proficiency... of all of them he is most injured in to end.
Because I have binged this, I remember that the lantern Qillek threw was not his. It was Nova's which she replaced. Tom should check his Inventory on DnD Beyond.
God, you know what would be cool? If the players meta gamed to play wizards so that they can have a specific spell to avoid all encounters when thy want and cheese fights by having a place to rest wherever they go. Why is it "being bothered" to play a wizard? As if it's usually a hassle? Let the players play what they friggin want
Remember invisibility gives advanced on stealth check. Even with the disadvantage he gave them she would have taken the normal roll which was 20+ stealth....
i really want them to go via the reincarnate route, i think it could make an amazing set of RP moments and i really want to see a game that finally uses the spell in action
It can really cripple a character depending on the change or it could be good, but most of the time (in my experience) you end up with a character you didn't want and is generally weaker, and personally I want to see sentry as a guardian's story play out

By becomeing a true living being it may extend her live for long enough for her to get to the city of glass and maybe the hook is that a magically adavance people transferred them selves to "immortal bodies" which are the guardians
I don't think being invisible in water should give you disadvantage for stealth. Yeah you displace the water, but displaced water is still more difficult to spot than somebody trying to stealth through it normally. If anything it should give a bonus to stealth by making the check easier.
Come on guys, Read your spells before you cast them or remember what they do. Invisible gives you advantage on stealth so with the disadvantage of the water that should have been a straight roll which would make Rhiannon's the 23 she rolled first. That combat with the ghosts shouldn't have triggered that way. :(
While you are correct about what invisibility does, the spells description just says that the affected creature is invisible for the duration. You have to go digging for what that means. And even then, the advantage is only on checks made to not be seen. You'd have to couple it with something like pass without trace, or boots of the elvenkind to be completely undetectable

Still less likely to be seen than not being invisible and "more likely" to be heard from splashing in water. aka a flat roll.
1:41:30 does she supposed to have an advantage because she was invisible or is it different for actively hiding but in the way she is any questions or answers
@@poisonedoak6563 He'd only get it one level later than normal, because multiclass spell rules keep the normal spell slot progression between full casting classes (1 Bard and 4 Cleric = 5th level caster) and then decide what spells can be selected by each class alone (so Quill's 4 cleric levels currently)
Agh! This really bugs me. Fog cloud does not produce a 20 foot cloud. It produces a 40 foot cloud with a 20 foot radius. There is a huge difference. The same goes for Hunger of Hadar which is the basis for Lucius's spell. I know this happened 5 years ago, so I hope that straightened up soon after this. This has been a persistent issue with area spells.

You do not get extra attack on a held action or an attack of opportunity. The wording specifically says "when you take the attack action on your turn"
Guiding bolt also only lasts until your next turn. It's Tom's responsibly to accurately and honestly represent the spell to the table
and you don't get an opportunity attack when blinded.

Eventually Quill will get access to the regenerate spell (it is a 7th level spell) and will be able to regrow his wing himself
Though for RP reasons he might not, and don’t forget he’s multi class so it may take a while
@@poisonedoak6563 He'd only get it one level later than normal, because multiclass spell rules keep the normal spell slot progression between full casting classes (1 Bard and 4 Cleric = 5th level caster) and then decide what spells can be selected by each class alone (so Quill's 4 cleric levels currently)

Agh! This really bugs me. Fog cloud does not produce a 20 foot cloud. It produces a 40 foot cloud with a 20 foot radius. There is a huge difference. The same goes for Hunger of Hadar which is the basis for Lucius's spell. I know this happened 5 years ago, so I hope that straightened up soon after this. This has been a persistent issue with area spells.

crew of the normandy idk what it is but Lightfall had it’s own soundtrack with original songs (it’s on Spotify) so we might have to wait for that to come out or it might be in the soundtrack already on there
