Everyone needs a paycheck. I honestly laughed when they went into ad mode because I thought it was a new intro at first and it caught me off guard. Good on them for making a decent, funny ad, got my attention.
Honestly, this was one of my favourite episodes of high rollers. I felt like this was the episode which made it clear that the sandbox element Mark has talked about in the past is a legit factor. When they were making the ship and meeting the crew, when they did the timeskip with downtime activities, and in the characters listing everything they could possibly do, which is a lot. One other episode which had a similar feeling, at least for me, was the spell clash episode. I though that was really fun and really cool, and it felt like Aerois was a proper, breathing, living world. Mark is briliant, his players are briliant, and I honestly hope we see more these proper downtime and sandbox elements again in the future.

I'm loving the new crew here, an Orc doctor, a human, halfling, aasimar and Guardian as hirelings, and a group of Beast walkers as the main crew, with Oriya as captain atop it all! Man, airships are a HUGE responsibility, hope you all do well in keeping ship and crew united. Loved all the new lore, giving insight into questions that have been unanswered for the longest time and I'm surprised that any information on Hadar was available, him being the 'Dark hunger' and so forth. I just have one question, are Beastwalkers like the faunus of RWBY? They certainly seem to share some amount of similarity. Thank you for the episode, and can't wait to see what happens next.
The mystery girl really seems like it is Chris Trotts sister lol even from the moment we meet her. In the vision they only confirmed his fathers death and no one seems to even consider talking about his sister.

Regular ye olde spoilers and Campaign 1 spoilers I kind of like how by coincidence there's a couple of paralells between the baddies in Lightfall and the party in Aerois. Not enough that the two are genuinely similar, just enough to have a chuckle at. Stormchasers - Broken sky Storm theme - Storm theme Blue skinned woman with some loose connection to air magic: Nova - Phelania (Air genasi - Cloud giant) Physically strong character with lightning powers: Aila - Varesh (Storm barbarian - Blue dragonborn) Cool frickin airship - Cool frickin airship Some shared thing which allows long distance communication: The messenger bracelets/rings(?) - The tattoos So. What if Aerois eventually turns into a "Are we the baddies? We're the baddies, aren't we?"-campaign, the group for some reason decide to break the cradle (and let Starbane's full forces in?), they rename their group from Stormchasers to The Broken Sky and their symbol is The Cradle with a lightning bolt through it? :D

FYI the term bastard is not actually gender specific. Any child born out of wedlock is a bastard, regardless of gender. The insult of bastard is directed at men because of the old inheritance laws where the oldest male child was the heir but bastards were ineligible unless officially recognised. Because bastards would often be older than "legitimate" children the term was used as a way to decrease the standing of male bastards so they wouldn't become a threat to inheritance. Since women only inherited if there were no male heirs it wasn't necessary to use in a derogatory fashion against them and was therefore never used against them in such a fashion, hence it is viewed as a insult to men.
