It goes to this scene straight after he walked out of prison, he couldn’t go back to walford he felt, but later on in this episode he comes into some money and a car and manages to arrive in walford with much more money and lots of different clothes

They could have done more with Nick Cottons Character to be honest I mean Nick did have a Temoer when he wanted to and he came across more intimidating than most of the people on the square especially mark Fowler
