Agreed, I've noticed recently a lot of ppl telling him to post more often... People just don't realize if he did that he'd have to sacrifice quality or make shorter videos... and I feel like the videos would lose a lot of his personality.

What I love is that the developer is using the CCs as a sort of test bed for the game and as they find bugs, he's fixing them, it's a good way of letting CCs show people the game and fix stuff at the same time, before the release.
Just love how he narrates while playing with the banter and chill out voice. It's like playing the game together with a nice friend while having Pizza.
Now we can all write a biography on Darren's life! 🤣...Honestly though man these little stories are great! Love hearing about people's past lives and how they ended up where they are. Would have never guessed you were from such a small town!
Long time on and off viewer. Just wanted to say how much I appreciat your content mix.
From having a good voice to listen to, to taking things seriously and not doing a lot of slap stick commentary, to actually being good at the games. Its rather rare to have in a youtuber
You don't actually need to buy a trade route to do basic exports and imports. If you just set it to the amount you want, the family working at the traders post will go to the edge of the map to sell and buy stuff.
Just now catching up with this series and "don't ask me, I'm not Welsh" had me spitting coffee at my monitor. 😂

It's always so strange to hear someone call the rain miserable, I get it from someone from the isles. But to me I'm from the desert, I can only see the rain as a blessing 😅
When it rains on average 170 days per year and its dry but cloudy for another 150… it takes its toll!
Was not expecting manor lords today but I'm here for it lol
a great trick I love doing.. I keep a very small quick company to chill on the map.. when I see the enemy going for bandits.. I move them semi nearby, wait for the raiders to trigger moving toward enemy.. then BAM.. I snipe out the camp loot ;) BTW..... EGGS!!!! they're amazing for regional wealth via export, and food... AND happiness!! nuff said ;)
@47:43 That thicker road is part of the Kings Road. It just ended there, and you tagged into it. That is why that stub is thicker. The King built it.

Yep I'm sold. This game is just beautiful, the ambience is superb and the gameplay/mechanics feel really authentic. Barely any bugs for this stage of development.
If it were up to me, you can just ditch your cs2 production, this is way better 😂. But it's not up to me and I'll just watch anything you throw out there. Even a video of your cat. How's Nix?

Can you give us a ground walkthrough as the lord every now and then? It's a good way too get a good feel for how your town is developing, and where you would like to plae certiain buildings.
Hey Darren, im soo glad that you are back to Manor Lords. Love your content. I must say, though, that I would love to see bit more well thought out lay outs in this play through that take into account distance walked to take items from A-B.

Would love it if u can zoom into stuff. The details in this game is just so good that it’d be a waste to just seeing it from above and not up close :D

i rember following your content befor during and after the CA job. very intrested to learn more about it. what your issues were working at what shouldve been a dream job.
BTW for some reason, when you assign an animal, like an ox, it disables any other animals from helping.. if you leave them all unassigned, then they'll go to whatever task is needed

19:42 in pretty sure you didn't have to establish that trade route. If you would have gone to export and set the amount you wanted to sell/ save. It should have been fine. There is certain ones that say they require an established route. So I think when you did it for the food you just set me of an efficient route maybe?
That missing part of the main road is making me anxious as hell...

Great vid - but no need to do the American grid build :) You can build things a lot more organically as if it is an early village. No excuse since youre Irish LOL :) Oh PS... IRL chickens lay less eggs in winter, so knowing how detailed this sim is, it may be accounted for!

Do you know you can change the radius of the working areas (for things like woodcutter)? The controls are visible when you move it around, I think it's ctrl + mouse wheel (was also available during the demo, and I've already seen someone use it on early access version)
Yep! I didnt know at the time though but I know now! I remember it from the demo and thought it was removed, didnt notice the keybind!

What do you do when you conquer other territories? Do you start a second village?
Yep! And then you can trade between them with pack animals. The development tree is specific to the region, so you’re encouraged to specialize them.
Wow does that get crazy when you have a lot of territories haha 😂
Will part 3 be public available?
I watch part 1 and 2 for nothing i see. Or the "Members only" is only applied for a certain time?
Regrettably I will have to be more careful if i'm going to see your content, because i don't know whether it will be a public or private content later on.
I enjoyed both part 1 and 2, but when i went for part 3, i faced with backslash. IMPOV, i think that either make all (those 3 videos) private (member only) or make it public.

Hmm possibly? But there’s no reference to children in the game and you don’t see them, so not sure
I really want to try this game but something I’m seeing from creators posting these videos is that the AI is outpacing the player too quickly. At a certain point it stops being fun when there’s nothing you can do to catch up or defend yourself against enemies 😖
Can probably try playing with a lower AI difficulty, seems most videos are people playing with the "normal" AI setting. Though idk how much of a difference the lower difficulty setting makes
As powrich below mentioned there are options to lower difficulty and also to play with no enemies. I think for mostcreators they’re just starting out so its understandable that it might seem harder than it is at first.
