Hey everyone! I stream Omori now on TH-cam 9pm AEDT! I am doing the Hikikomori route and know NOTHING about it, it's like a first playthrough all over again! Let's all be traumatized together, again
@@therealzizmon1748 I'm like 7 hours in and only JUST started the specific route because I'm trying to also get as many achievements as possible eheh. Chat has been telling me to "be prepared" T~T
@@panfriedcards I've seen a lot of the really weird stuff that happens in the Hikikomori route in little snippets on youtube, and from what I heard the story in headspace is a little different too
The omori fight theme chokes me up everytime its a tragic beauty as the continue theme is bright and somber.like the night may hold our past but moring come holds the start of our future
this~! i love the corrupted part, it just BLEEDS this pain, self-hate, just all these sad and angry emotions, not a melody, but just loud, screeching noises that interrupt your focus, drown out the other emotions...god the OST for this game are so so well done
if i have to be honest,im not the emotional type of person to cry over something fictional, however this was the first time i hit waterworks. the story is AMAZING! also,WELCOME TO THE FANDOM WHERE others CANNOT mess with us sobbing over that T~T
I never would have expected OMORI to be a pretty sad game. I mean, Mari fuckin' died, your only sibling fuckin' died and you get to play your last duet with your sister before she died and now Sunny gets a mental breakdown after that and the only way you get to see her again is from your dream world. I mean shit, why did Mari have to die anyway
It is suuuch a sad game. Even considering how the other characters were impacted as well! It was Hero's significant other and to lose her at a young age would be traumatic- especially because it was staged as a suicide. Aubrey would have looked up to Mari as well as an older sister and a role model because she didn't have a good family/ family environment growing up. (tbh, not really sure what Mari's connection to Kel was eek, maybe he just saw her as an older sister? STILL ITS SO SAD!!).
I mean, Mari definitely had the biggest role in the game (for me at least.) OMORI literally means "to take care of" or "to avoid contact with others." It's gotta be Mari who pushed Sunny to have more friends rather than to sit himself alone by himself. Still, she didn't deserve to die
My time (bed ending song) is the only one that competes with this one for me. I think my time is just a good song that really fits the ending well while the duet is just so fucking beautiful and sad
I will take my time to welcome you to the fandom of Omori, don't mess with us, we are all collectively traumatized. I am just going to come to the point though, about the message of this game, it's a truly, truly heart touching story, we had to wait for 6 years for this absolute masterpiece and we all are glad that we waited for sooo long and witnessed the creation and development of such an incredible game, enough to shatter the emotional barriers of anyone, tearing them to pieces, by giving us tears, but the message is quite different. It shows the importance of forgiving ourselves, things can go bad, and we all have done mistakes, but if instead of forgiving ourselves we hold on to it, they take the form of inner demons, which manifest our lives, and haunt us, we know how hard it is and the immense guilt people feel in such situations, but keeping it inside and suppressed will only make it stronger, and take over our lives, no matter what happens, nothing can stop us from being happy. and all the people who still wake up every day even after facing this guilt, Good Morning.
really insightful perspective towards the game and I really appreciate when people see beyond just a "good game"! I agree with everything you said as well! It really shows how much meaning can be put into a game when people spend a long time on it. I applaud Omocat for taking their time and making a story that I will never forget. It's the first game in a loooong time to make me really contemplate the emotions and scenarios the characters faced, then apply them to the real world. It's really refreshing to see a game like this and can't wait to explore more of the secret the game has to hold!!! (I still haven't faced off against the bread twins and I really want to do that soon!!) Thank you for the comment, I really appreciate it!!!
This game changes people, either by a lot, or maybe just ever so slightly, but it does leave an impression. Such an impactful and beautiful game. I’m really glad you enjoyed it!
Even if I played the game after seeing all the spoilers, I will still bawl like a baby in this scene. Omori literally put me in their Rabbit hole, but I enjoyed every second of it
Just finished the game yesterday and when i finally got this ending i bawled like a baby, wish i could erase my memories and play again. truly a masterpiece of a game
10000% agree with you! This game is literally a benchmark for every other game I play now, its actually incredible also, welcome to the crying club T~T
Why can I imagine someone during final duet then their mother walks into the room and is like "come down for dinner I've been calling you down for ten minutes" and then the person just turns around in tears like "I CANT RIGHT NOW"
I was basically sobbing every two minutes from the moment the last day started to the end but this part really made me break down, lol I can't bring myself to do a Hiki playthrough after getting the good ending, though.
@@panfriedcards I heard good things about it but for the most part I prefered reading up on it because seeing how the true ending already broke me I don't think my feelings can take a not-good ending lmao
Its really an emotional ride though. Deals with depression, suicide and that kind of stuff. I feel like thats good to know before starting. Also in case you havent played it yet open the door for kel. If you dont you go on a different route which is really cool on a 2nd playthrough but leaves out basicly a lot of the story
@@tsvh383 Yeah I agree! We had a trigger warning at the beginning of stream/ when I thought something was about to happen :) Also I want to try that different storyline the next time I play it! I love the game so muchhh!!!
