Was just about to comment the samw thing. We fool ourselves during the whole game that Mari is there, that her presence is somehow still there, but that shot of her inside her coffin surrounded by flowers is like a stab to the heart. She's gone. Those happy memories of the group will never be the same, and their future interactions will never be the same, because Mari will never be there with them again. This and the scene of them having one last picnic with her on the graveyard are the scenes that crush my soul.
I've played OMORI 8 times, done both routes multiple times, have all the achievements, and I still cry every single time Final Duet plays. Even watching this video I cried. Just such a masterful story and song
People say that OMORI gameplay is boring, maybe they're right, but it is absolutely worth it. When this game reaches the 6th gear, it's unstoppable. Half of this game may be "mid", but only dumb people will not see how perfect everything from "One day before" until the end is. I LOVE OMORI
I love how everyone immediately shut up when the music started playing, really taking in and absorbing the emotions the music is meant to convey after the tragic knowledge they've been given about the situation with Omori For those unaware, it's a beautiful song. It sounds good, it sounds like it's giving a *positive* vibe. But for those who are in the know, they experience this song completely differently and I love it
@@AlteAvi OMORI is not a jumpscare game really. The "jumpscares" in this game are very tame. The "horror" is _psychological_ horror which is different. It's thought-provoking, and it puts _you_ in the shoes of characters who go through some unsettling things and it makes you think "what if that were to happen to me...?" and that's where the horror aspect comes in. Also fear of the unknown, dread, "what's gonna happen next?" in some scenes. But not the kind of horror that makes you jump out of your chair. There's a couple jumpscares in the game, but they are very subtle and minor. None of them are loud, and they have only soft sound effects and most of them are silent, just a brief flash of something weird or strange you're not expecting.
I’m not the type of person to cry because of games or videos or really anything online. But this damn scene. This scene is the one that makes my chest feel heavy. This is the one that makes my eyes feel watery.
i love Omori, ive played the game over 10 times, ive watched countless playthroughs, and yet whenever I hear Final Duet I can't help but uncontrollably cry. I cant even hear the first note without tearing up.
I was full on SOBBING at the end. I’m an idiot and I’m very oblivious when playing games and it took me forever to realize what was happening 💀 but even so I was sobbing so hard at the end
im so stupid i wish i figured out how omori was trying to repress his memories of mari and how she died before watching the duet bc it def would have hit me harder :(
@@DPR_NCTThe story was terrible and boring all the way until the very end of Sumeru which had pacing and padding even worse than Omori's and only really got good in Fontaine which STILL fucked it up with Act 3 Genshin's story is largely very bad and poorly presented with tiny amounts of good sprinkled in
I would like to see your reaction, but I will warn you that the game does carry a lot of heavy topics like animal cruelty and suicide and lots more, please check with the warnings of the game and be safe and have a fun time playing it if you do!
@@Hi_Im_Here-on4ul Thank you for not being a meanie and telling me to kill myself, but uhh, I have not a lot of feelings towards this stuff much, of course, I think its all bad, but I'm not the type of person to cry. @@notcoolcookies No problem, that’s a horrible thing for people to say to you, I hope your okay! And I’m the same way as I didn’t cry to these scenes either and I’m not much of a crier as well. I hope you have a fun time playing when your computer gets fixed!
*[hears the first few piano notes]*
*[starts to tear up for the millionth time]*
thats how good the game is, same btw
This is so true :(
ME
the guy at the top right dodging the camera so we can't see him crying lmao
It’s the final shot of Mari that always gets me. Just her laying so peacefully next to the final shot of the piano hits me in the heart hard.

I LOVE OMORI
Did you know there like 9 endings
@ncastrob1450 yeah, I made this comment months ago. Done everything now
This is so sad but I laugh so hard, seeing the down left streamer literally having a heart attack 💀💀

I'm sorry, but as someone who knows little to nothing about Omori it's so funny seeing suddenly everyone crying
I mean you already are spoiled of the ending but you should play it or watch someone play it it’s a pretty fun ride
Unfortunately I don't deal well with horror games, but maybe I'll try watching this one day
@@AlteAvi its not really a horror game there is only like 2 "scary" parts in game that lasts foe like a couple of seconds
As a person who has played and seen I agree

Almost all streamers cry to the Final duet
Then theres Ant: 😐
Theres a reason hes hiding for a quite good minutes
I've never cried so hard at a song before this game is so beautiful I love it sm I would sell my soul to play it for the first time again
The only times I've cried this with a sad song playing too is in Up (the Disney movie) and Koe No Katachi
9 months later sorry-
Have you tried Mother 3?
I cried my eyes out just like the first time i watched it
This game Is a masterpiece
I WASNT EXPECTING TO CRY IN A HORROR GAME
It's not a horror game, it's more of a game representing depression
I’ve never cried at a game but this is just
this game is so good and i feel so bad for everyone who hasn't played it
was half expecting Ant at the end with his 😐reaction
No matter how many times i see or hear the final duet, i break out in tears
I wanna play this game so badly but maybe…JUST MAYBE!!!! I’m a little worried I’ll have a whole crying session playing it🙁🙅🏽♀️
Не волнуйтесь, это будет под конец только))
I cried at 4 parts but it was all towards the end
i was sobbing throughout the last hour of the game and then for 2 hours after i was done with the game lmaoo
It’s worth it
Oh you will. Every time I hear this song I break ☠️
everytime i play this on violin I JUST CANT TAKE ITTTT like bro how is it so heartbreaking
Not even a minute in and we all crying already 😭😭

yea.. emotional.. (bro was basically Sunny 😅😐)
Bottom left dude just drops dead after seeing Omori alone, *Mari-less.*
Dawn on the verge of tears
When i first saw that i was breaking down and a spasming fit of tears on the floor :(
Tuonto just writhing in his chair lol
Bro looked like he was having a heart attack.
I’m sorry but jake’s error 404 reaction is so funny-
Is it bad that I never cried at this
I haven't ever play the the game but I am crying
