    Hell I am an old HGV Mechanic and I have a nissan note. My Clutch slave cylinder has just blown and I will not be doing it myself laying on my own drive. This lad has big balls and the way he methodically works is to be praised. Well done Mr Williams I take my hat off to you sir.

    How do you manage yourself physically on these jobs? That looks like it would be awfully straining on the neck especially with no creeper. Is there a reason you wear a thermal face mask on a warm summer’s day?

    • @WMCS
      @WMCS  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i suppose its a bit like asking usain bolt how he manages his run or if his legs get tired... it's not realy a thermal it's a face protector from oil and clutch dust,. You have to keep in mind i'm doing this every day every year for many years.. and years to come.. you cannot take risk with oil on skin.. and breathing dust.. i'd rather get hot for a few hours than skin cancer... let me know your thouhts

    Hi i fitted a new concentric slave cylinder to my vectra c 1.8 vvt and after 70 miles the pedal went hard followed by the pedal losing pressure and fluid running out bottom of bellhousing and can also start car in any gear without clutch and wont even jerk forward
    Could you advise please
    Thanks

    • @WMCS
      @WMCS  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The slave cylinder has come apart .., when the pedal felt solid the thrust bearing part got jammed in the forward position and got stuck there.,, leaving the pressure plate permanently engaged. That’s why you can shift gears. It’s like you’re constantly pressing the clutch pedal. This happens often with LUK CSC as they are made of plastic. Gearbox needs coming out and FTE csc needs to be installed.
