    Good video. This guy seems much more knowledgeable about the industry as a whole than some other product reps.

    This is a good concept. Will there be thru coolant versions of these tools exiting at points around the cutting sphere?

    I need to look into these. Very cool.

    Very very cool! I can think of a whole lot of burr problems being solved by this in my shop!
    Do you have a distributor in South Africa?

    Very interesting!
    But will it work if threads are close to the intersection?
    I'm guessing the protective ring will slide into the thread.

      Absolutely, we've got lots of customers using these in threaded holes. In most cases the thickness of the disk allows the tool to ride over the threads rather than dropping down in. In an automated / CNC setting, the tool will be programmed to preload against the very last thread, just before the intersection edge.

    That's genius 👏 🙌 👌!! I definitely could use that! Wonder if 6k is fast enough tho? We have 50cats

    • @JWDoneOrbitool
      @JWDoneOrbitool ปีที่แล้ว

      We generally operate these between 5,000-15,000 RPM. 6k should be sufficient.

    How well can this tool protect the SHARP EDGE, not just the bore or adjacent surfaces to the edge where the burr is located? We often have a requirement to keep edges crisp and sharp, free of burrs.

    • @JWDoneOrbitool
      @JWDoneOrbitool ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In a CNC application, we can tailor the ORBITOOL parameters to remove only the burr without generating a radius/edge break. This can be best achieved when paired with proper drill management/burr generation.

    This is just for hand ( manual) deburring right? Not on cnc machine softwares??
