I have a display box full of Timex, I used to work Corrections so I have plenty Timex Expeditions and I have had those maybe 15 plus years now. I bought the Timex Harborside coast a couple months ago, changed the strap on that and I love it. I also have my grandpas Timex watches from the 60s and 70s and they are still in great condition and still keep good time. My current daily watch is the Citizen Promaster Automatic Fugu. I like to cycle through my watches on a weekly basis.
I have the original in gold. It has a buttery cream dial with a white date wheel. There are no jewels in the original, so the movement will wear out. I love it. If they reissue the gold version again, then I will buy it.
I just recently got the Timex the Waterbury chronograph watch with the tri color sub dials. IMO, Timex>Seiko. Older and don’t charge an extra arm & leg for their history and tradition like Seiko does
Hmm. I've been soured on Timex because they are so hit or miss on the quality. This seems like a decent proposition at $220. Many of their autos are $280 plus. I like this one.
Had just obtained the original in NOS condition literally on the day they did the re-release. I found the band to be tight on my 8.7 in wrist but it was a great piece. I sold it for a profit!
Hi Chris ! Could you do a review of this watch : Big Date Chiming Automatic Watch Limited Edition 300 PCS "Lucky Harvey" On my opinion - it's great ! Bracelet as VC-222 + chiming mechanism etc
Bought a timex or two but they've been pretty hit or miss quality wise. One came with a broken movement and it was the last tiffany timex legacy waterbury they had. Sent it back. Another had an issue with the crown not being pushed in on delivers so it was bent a bit. Sent that back too.
I see you've adopted the "I love watches" school of clickbait thumbnails. I'll tell you what I told Gary. Please don't do that. Only mentioning it because I like your channel and want you to succeed long term. 🍻
Timex has been KILLING the game lately. Glad they're starting to get some recognition. Thanks for the video as always!
Hopefully Timex will start using higher grade movements like the 9xxxx series Miyota at some point

I was considering to buy it, but only 34mm is a deal breaker for me

I once owned the original l model in gold.
This thing is pretty cool…looks just like the watches my dad wore when I was a kid…
Oh I’m buying this for sure when it is back in stock. Thanks for showing it us. This is beyond awesome!
I'd say this is the perfect size. very close to Santos Medium which is the most popular size.
Thank you for video, but pls provide mechanism name

Deepwater Reef makes me think of the Phoibos Wavemaster
Better design than the patek cubitus
The 15% discount did not apply to this watch
I love that watch.
It reminds me of my grandfather's watch. I like it!
LOL. This was the watch I had in university. Love it. My wife went to the website thinking Xmas but out of stock. Good memories
Can't get warm with TV dials yet, but otherwise nice.

That date window is atrocious
Way better design than The fuglytus 🤩
I do believe that the original was a manual winding model. But this is an excellent effort on the part of Timex.
I have the original, still works great. It's just too small for my wrist.
No sapphire no buy

Ignore this guy. Keep up the great content. Do whatever it takes to get people to lick, because the hobby needs more high quality videos like this
Out of stock.
💯👍
A reminder: PRX SUXXX. Stealing oak's dial places the brand to the below-aliexpress category. Which is where it always belonged.
