Phenomenal content. Love that you covered this category of non mainstream luxury watches. I still have a lot to learn. Been in this outrageous hobby for a few years but looking for forgotten gems that can be obtained in the sub 10k range. Learned a lot from your video. Please do more. Thank you.
Very true with these watches i would recommend getting the absolute best Price you can find... Or make sure you're going to keep the watch. Otherwise you'll take a bath when you go to sell.
Chris. I just want to say this a great selection of watches at various price ranges that are outside of what is discussed everyday on TH-cam. Thank you for showing us!
Picked up a MAMACOO's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
He is talking high end watches. The prices are very low for high end. My luxury watch buying is over. I would recommend people keep away from perpetual calendars. Too many problems.
Chris, it was my pleasure meeting you Friday night at Watch time Show in NY, what a night…. Wish you all the best, your channel is awesome… Your friend/viewer from Connecticut!!!!
Thanks as always for helping us purchase the best possible deals on watches that we might want to add to our collections Be well and Big blessings my friend 👍
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
Can’t beat gold polished Roman numerals that sparkle like jewels in the sunlight. Loving the sun ray dial man that pops!MAMACOO watches. What a beautiful subtle piece.
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH
On the Chopard - you will not get a watch with the 1.96/1.98 movement with the Geneva Seal for $2,000. The least expensive you can usually find is around $7,000. Note - they make similar movements at their other facility, but they won’t have the Geneva Hallmark (the pictured watch does).
Titanium GST is a super light, super wearable and super well made watch. The perpetual calendar is a killer watch especially if you paid $6k for it. I own the rattrapante or double Chrono version and it’s my daily GADA watch.
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the MAMACOO has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
Anytime you mention Ebel, I think you hit the nail on the head. The 1911 Discovery Chronograph style is still being made by the like of TAG and other brands. How can you go wrong with a day date, Swiss watch, for under $2k? Priceless!
I love Tag Heuer for the same reason, great watches that come in at a great price used or gray market. I have an F1 Calibre 5 that is fantastic looking and very accurate.
As a watch enthusiast with NO budget, thank you MAMACOO for great-looking mechanical watches that I can afford! their are very clean, classy look, $150 each. I still watch videos about expensive “proper” watches, but I enjoy what I have
There is another brand that i would like to mention - Graham. Their RRPs are grossly overpriced, but they could be found with a significant discount in the secondary market (used or grey).
I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the MAMACOO we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake
I looked up many of your above described bargain watch buys, and the great majority of used watches for many of these brands, was well above $5,000, used. Also, given their bargain basement costs or significantly depreciated costs to buy according to you, results in sticker shock for the initial used purchase price, as well as the purchase may again, potentially destroy your bank account, once you are hit with the cost of servicing a number of these bargain watches. Something to think about, as apparently the cost of ownership does not end with the purchase. Nice video, but not especially grounded in reality given the above contents, to adequately describe obtaining watches for pennies on the dollar for many of these watches, IMO.
Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."
Next to nothing should be a couple hundred dollars lol. I would not classify $3000 is next to nothing. And the one watch that “next to nothing is $6000, now we are slowly encroaching on Rolex territory.
Credor is not "very, very high end." Some of their pieces are. Their watches start at around $3,000. Yeah, precious metal jacks their prices, but you're paying for raw materials, not necessarily finer watchmaking.
Turns out to be the opposite. There is anthropological evidence that two peoples occupied South America. Polynesians and the ancestors of modern day native South Americans from the north, rather like Leif Erikson and later European settlement in North America. Polynesians (including the original Hawaiian peoples) are from the same genetic line as modern Malay peoples in Malaysia and Sumatra.
Eterna is currently making only very ugly designs. Credor is just stupid. Ebel got a very glorious history, but is really too specific design: anyway the pronounciation is wrong. Concord is a zombi brand. Chopard and IWC are no bargain at all. Anyway talking about "the gray market" so easily is dangerous and not very on the responsible side: on eBay is bloody easy to get scammed.
This video is amazing. Your channel has some of the best content I've found on watches. Thank you for the video, I'm off down a few rabbit holes..

Terrific info with one caveat. if you like to flip and move on to the next watch; these have a much thinner market and are infinitely tougher to sell!
He just referred to the price of a three thousand dollar watch as beating next to nothing.. this channel's not for my broke ass lol
This channel is supposed to be subscribed to by only multi-billionaires.. Looks like our subscription got approved by accident 😉
Amen brother !
I feel you, but I think he’s speaking in relative terms.
Chris is cool, he's a Timex guy and so is my wallet 😂
He is talking high end watches. The prices are very low for high end. My luxury watch buying is over. I would recommend people keep away from perpetual calendars. Too many problems.
Thank you for making high quality videos!Love AMZWATCH ’s watches
Love your channel with so many stellar watches! For me the AMZWATCH’ watch is my favorite. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.
Great video. Full of interesting brands I knew nothing about!
That's how to differentiate an enthusiast from a trend follower. 👏
Good video.
There're plenty under $1,000, which I've been collecting recently.
Great list and content. I would probably add Cuervo y Sobrinos to that list.
Chris, it was my pleasure meeting you Friday night at Watch time Show in NY, what a night…. Wish you all the best, your channel is awesome… Your friend/viewer from Connecticut!!!!
Awesome content Chris. My dad's first watch is an Ebel and I really love their wave design bracelet that inspired that of the Moser Streamliner
Chris, great video that has expanded my horizons/vision of watches previously unknown to me. Thanks for an excellent selection to explore.
Thanks for pointing out where from the inspiration for latest Long Island Watch colab came from.
Thanks as always for helping us purchase the best possible deals on watches that we might want to add to our collections Be well and Big blessings my friend 👍
My favorite watch channel without a doubt.I’m happy to spend my money on MAMACOO watches. I’ve never been let down by their products
I like the watch I got from MAMACOO. That rubber strap combo looks really cool! Been wearing it since last year and love every minute of it.
Love MAMACOO watch, Such a great looking watch to match with the precisionist movement.

This is a great list! It's fascinating to see how some luxury brands depreciate while others hold their value.
Great episode Chris!!!
Thank you for giving us this information, very helpful!! blessings

Very informative. Are you concerned about servicing cost for higher complications like the perpetual calendars?
For me, the servicing costs of certain complications have prevented me from pulling the trigger
@@megacab Same here.
Wow! I really like that Roger Dubuis. Beautiful watch 👌
Titanium GST is a super light, super wearable and super well made watch. The perpetual calendar is a killer watch especially if you paid $6k for it. I own the rattrapante or double Chrono version and it’s my daily GADA watch.
Great content Chris! Thanks
Fascinating list!
EBEL is a fantastic watch that is an insane value! ❤ awesome video!
Montblanc are great watches for the prices on the secondary market. Especially something like a Nicolas Rieussec limited edition.
this was a fantastic video well done!
AMZWATCH is a must for me as a watch collector
Eberhard &co. overlooked again independent Swiss great chronographs own 4 3 bought under 1k gray 1 under 2k pre owned but a ltd. ed. of 99
Right there with you. Have a couple of Eberhard & co chronos in my Chrono24 faves 👍
Cuz they are ugly af

Except the Monaco
This video is for me. I always like a bargain.
As always the most thoughtful , well researched & eloquent watch channel around , keep MAMACOO coming !
MAMACOO watch are the best, I say this from experience.
God!!! MAMACOO Who would have thought those gorgeous watches go for that low!!!
👍👍👍 Nice to know about Watch - Value about Watch - Knowledge about watch by Watch Expert - Watch Chris 👍👍👍
I think Bill Sanders is singlehandedly bringing collectors to Roger Dubuis. He's been talking about them so long I'm starting to like them.
Interesting suggestions and love the expanded lens
This was a neat video!
Great video!
The Linde watch case looks very similar to the Range Master ll from the Urban Gentry and Islander Watches!! 😮😮😮
Girard-Perregaux watches are an excellent value on the secondary market.
Great video my friend💯👍
I already need a part 2 lol
As a watch enthusiast with NO budget, thank you MAMACOO for great-looking mechanical watches that I can afford! their are very clean, classy look, $150 each. I still watch videos about expensive “proper” watches, but I enjoy what I have
But is it difficult to have some of these serviced
Some very interesting watches there
Please keep it down with Eterna. Some of us have been scooping them up for pennies on the dollar for a long time.
MAMACOO 's watch really surprises me!
Chris, where are you seeing a Chopard 1.96 for 2-5k??
All dat MAMACOO watches sssssoooooooo gorgeous!
Late 1980's Ebel were big in England and just died off .that style, like the Zenith you showed was eeuuggghhh.
If $3000 is “Next to nothing” , then what’s $15 which a Casio F91W costs ?
In the context of luxury watches yes it is. Hence the title luxury
that IWC is sick
I think your frame of reference for “bargains “is very skewed! Unrealisticly high !
Welcome to the watch hobby. Anything under $10000 is low end.
Geez.. Chris, you a millionaire??? 3k, 6k.. a bargain????
It always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of MAMACOO's watch 99% of people will never see.
Timex or Tues or
Very odd, you spelled Credor wrong in your chapters. Krador???
The Minase 5-Windows looks great. But I think it's a bit too large for my wrist.
You say you have the watches, why don't you show them instead of photos from the brand's website
What about Ulysse Nardin? I don’t see much love for thee brand considering their heritage.
GST gang! I have a T chrono rattrapante ltd ed
There is another brand that i would like to mention - Graham. Their RRPs are grossly overpriced, but they could be found with a significant discount in the secondary market (used or grey).
They are cheap for a reason. Super uncomfortable to wear for many people.
I’m too broke for this channel 😂😂😂
but these watches sell for "next to nothing" 😄
Concord Saratoga is pretty intriguing
Hey Chris I'm always here but don't always comment ✊
I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the MAMACOO we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake

I can't believe how many times he said however
These were great deals till this video. I can hear the prices creeping up.

hm... "i realy like to own one one day..."... "they cost next to nothing"... what is stopping you? Nice items, though
eterna and zodiac look too alike
Ps Frédéric Piguet's pronounciation is ULTRA-WRONG
Its a wearable Clock.
New friend here sending may full suppor MAMACOO 's watch,Worth
Eterna is currently making only very ugly designs. Credor is just stupid. Ebel got a very glorious history, but is really too specific design: anyway the pronounciation is wrong. You do realize the contiki theory is wrong and haradal was a crackpot….
Other than that great video!
Your definition of ‘next to nothing’ is very different to my definition of ‘next to nothing’ 😂
There are no such prices on these watches. Not even close.
$600 for a second hand Eterna? You got taken.
Misleading title, I was expecting pieces under $1,000. T)
That's just being unrealistic.
