One rules question I had is with Mysterio. I played him for the first time in multiplayer and ran into a situation that I've never ran into with him in solo. At the encounter card part of the villain phase, I had 3 encounter cards to resolve from Mysterio. The very first one was the discard your hand and draw up to your hand size one and we miraculously did not have the resources to stop it. When drawing back up to my hand size, I drew into 4 more encounter cards that he had put into my deck previously. My question is do those new encounter cards get added to the pile that I still hadn't resolved yet, totaling 7 encounter cards in one phase, or do the new ones get dealt as face down encounter cards for the next villain phase?
@@D20Woodworking Thank you! That's how I played it but I wanted to check because it was so brutal and we lost because of it LOL. It's crazy how much harder Mysterio is with more players vs solo.
I was playing Klaw on expert last night, (She-Hulk, Aggression from core box, fun times) and I defeated an enemy while having two Chase Them Down in hand. Could I activate both events?
If you rush damage and use Star Lords ability every turn you will win on three turns on almost every villain on standard. If you play expert or want to play slow then the key is to use his ability to play build cards: Mansion, Leader of the Guardians, Guns, Allie’s, Helicarriers, 3 cost aspect upgrades, etc. The only time to NOT use his ability is if the board state is significantly beyond your ability to control.
gives him massive sustain to stay out of logan and rush the villain. night nurse + med team + his healing factor and I got better means you can constantly play his attack events for free then heal back up. It's actually pretty insane
Just played a mojo expert campaign with star lord and if you know how to handle the risk reward he is an absolute blast when you get those massive damage turns. When you get that part down he is one of the most rewarding heroes to play.
Wanda is so unbelievably broken. She's basically banned at our table. Resolving 3-7 hexbolts a turn every other turn on top of dropping in a few allies is insane. Nick fury every turn? Yes plz. Beast every other turn? Yes plz. Maria hill spam? Yes plz. Need to stun & confuse the villain? Yes plz. After i did 98 dmg on a single turn to red skull we basically decided she was too strong. Her & Strange almost never see play cuz they're too OP imo.
Trying to get my wife into the game. Any suggestions on heroes that are easy to play for people that don't want a lot of "if this then that" type of stuff? Online says Captain America or Spider-Man, but I'm almost thinking X-23 aggression. Thoughts?
X 23 is fun but can be a bit much to figure out when to exhaust her claws and what not. I think cap America is the most straight forward. Venom isn’t too bad either. Ant man is pretty straight forward as well
Hex Bolt can also go around Guard and Patrol, correct?
Sure can
I always thought Hex Bolt had to handle each card individually. It’s much better if you can look at all 3 and decide which order to use them.

Current phase. So you keep resolving encounter cards until there are none, none will get saved for next round.

Wolverine.... Protection? What? Huh?

Protection Hulk and Leadership Hulk are better than Aggression Hulk because he can get readies and/or card draws

Cap, SpiderMan PP, Miles, Gamora, Phoenix come to my mind as straightforward heroes
4 cost cards are too expensive to play
Nick Fury: am I a joke to you?
Shadowcat is the best Protection hero though, and it's not close
