That cross dresser (Greg) should not feel bad. He's a real hero and certainly deserves an award for his actions. Doesn't matter if he's a cross dresser. Like Fred Rogers (Mister Rogers Neighborhood) said,"There's only one person in the world like you and people can like you exactly as you are." Everyone can say to Greg that we like him just the way he is.

I'm sure She has, I wonder what made her want to do such a terrible thing, when did it start in the first place?, Did her BF (that means Boyfriend in case you're wondering) broke up with her or Did her Husband walk out on her?, Did she have a Mental breakdown, or God knows what else, but I'm so proud of what that Guy that was dressing up as a Drag Queen had done, If it weren't for Him, then Who knows what might've happened, I hope that Guy will get his reward when he comes before our heavenly father on the day of Judgement.

@@kathymoriarty1441 I knew of one who did this back in the early 1980s. There was just one hostage and it was in an apartment building. She simply just snapped. She surrendered, got help and later spoke about the effects of mental illness and never got in trouble again. She lived to be in her late 70s.

      This was the early 90s.
You have to remember it was a very different time. Tolerance was still far away. Heck in 1997 when Ellen Degeneres came out, she literally lost EVERYTHING and people involved in the coming out episode of her show couldn't work for severeal years afterwards.
Laura Dern got blacklisted for a long time.
And this took place at the START of that decade, so it was even worse.

I don't know if it was just a lapse in the reenactment, but if this was an accurate reenactment, it bothered me that it didn't seem important for the police to secure and interview the woman (who was released because she had a child in the car) if only to get a clearer insight and profile of the hostage-taker. I imagine the procedures then were much different from current, more informed ones.

I had someone push their way into my house trying to say I stole his dog and he wanted him back.(the dog was mine and never was his) we had a scuffle in the house and I we managed to get onto my porch where I just started screaming for help from anyone that could hear me. someone got him off of me and he ran up the street, right into the arms of a cop. when his trial came around they said it was up to me. did I want him to go to jail or go through a treatment program where he could get the help he needed. I chose the treatment. when his sentencing came I stood up and I said "this was up to me. I was the one that spared you the. one you hurt so bad. I am not a bad person and I want you to get the help I think you could use." he still had to go to jail for 2 years but had I not allowed them to spare him they would have given him 6-10 without getting him the help he needed. it took me a long time to get the courage to answer the door when someone knocked at it. so I know how these people feel.

For the suspect to have just enough sanity to allow Nicole to go because of having a child in the car waiting for her is amazing. That is not something you would expect to see. Usually in a situation like this you would think the suspect would be like "too bad! I don't care!" Or something like that.

Salad Waster Yeah, because rifles have two cylinders, and shotguns have one. I do apologize if I’m incorrect.

She was going to pop that poor Hispanic lady. In real time as I was watching before the ending I was already thinking if you are close enough you can quickly and easily grab the rifle barrel and overpower her.

She wasn't on a suicide mission. If she were on a suicide mission, and ONLY a suicide mission, she would have done it the way Robin Williams did it. He didn't go out and involve other people in his problem, she DID. That's not a suicide mission it's a f'ing hostage taking, and I hate it because I was a hostage once. But at least he didn't blame it on suicide. He blamed everyone else instead of himself.
