It's awful how they are treated and the violence that happens and the embarrassment when people belittle you or think it's funny to throw things at you. People- love your children and DO NOT hold back on them when it comes to reality and what's in it. From sex to drugs to breaking laws to you name it....it requires more than "the talk". It requires everyday love and consistency and a bonding with your child that allows truths to flow like water.... if you don't have this, start working at it. Much love.

I'm also an addict and thank God I never got trank or whatever its called. I'm from Baltimore and I do think we got that here but also I never shot up I was always a sniffer. I'm not tryna say that's any better bc an user is an user regardless how they do it, ya know? It's so sad to see that they see and acknowledge what's causing them sores and infections and they still use. I seen a women shoot heroin into an infected absest once. It was gross. I'll never forget it.

My heart hurts watching this. The affects of the tranq and the fact that this is what they're all hooked on. I could sit here and list all of the reasons why an addict would continue to use this stuff, but we all already know that people flock to this place and end up hooked on this. It is absolutely inevitable once the tranq is in your system. We've seen the nightmare an addict goes through time and time again from this.. physically, mentally, emotionally. We are all going to die some day, but that would be one hell of a shitty way to go. As does trying to detox because that and withdrawal are why people fear trying to get clean. Something has got to give before the next person's son or daughter ends up there. We Out There 💙

You can get clean- it doesn't matter if you substitute it with suboxone- anything is better than what you do now. You look like a strong guy and I have a faith that you can do this. This is a strange thing to say, but one of the aspects of these interviews I enjoy, is watching the people use "brain muscles" they haven't stretched in awhile, as they think about their answers. That said, I do wonder if Michael's family, like the aunt he mentioned who means so much to him, know about his poor infected legs. Then again, we do not know for certain if anyone other than his aunt cares.
I winced when I saw Micael’s leg. I completely understand addiction and mental illness, I’ve been through it. It’s bad enough what drugs do to your insides but you can’t see it. When you see what the fenty does to your outside and how horrific it looks you’d think the addict would stop. This shows how strong addiction is when your leg is rotting and you might lose it but you keep on injecting. My heart goes out to Michael and all of the other addict angels on the streets this winter. Bless you all.
It isn't the fentanyl that is causing the sores they have, it's what the fentanyl is being cut/mixed with that causes them. They use horse tranquilizers, meat tenderizer, rat poison, and anything they can to make it stretch further and increase their profits. It makes it so much worse for them when they're trying to stop using too because they not only go through withdrawal from the fentanyl but from the tranquilizers as well. Fentanyl is everywhere now and I have never seen people anywhere else that suffer from the sores that the people of Kensington get. In other places I've seen people get abscesses from using but what's happening in Kensington is not the normal sores people using IV drugs typically get.
Mal, please look out for Mike. He is one of the nicest people you have interviewed. I am praying for you Mike. Please get help and get out of Kensington. You CAN do it. You are a warrior, a survivor and a good man.
I enjoy the channel a lot. It is confusing when someone will not stop exposing theirself to the toxin causing their suffering. Addiction is truly mysterious and tragic.

I was in a group home after I finished treatment under civil commitment. This guy lost part of his arm from doing heroin and passed out on top of his arm losing circulation to his arm. He didn't even know how long he was passed out with his arm underneath his torso. So it's not just all the crap they're putting in the dope that can cause loss of limbs. But Michael ur a very intelligent young man I'm sure that u would succeed greatly in any way possible if u chose to get sober 😉

I mean, yes, utilities should be paid for, but for struggling families, maybe some sort of financial plan should be tried with both parties. I pray he can get his health ( especially his legs) under control & that he soon tries rehab & can stick to it 🙏🏼. I pray for all these lost souls & that they get to their ‘AHA’ moment & go get that help they need

I had a family member who needed help and I knew I could not help them on my own so I had to ask for help from other people. And keep asking, and asking, and I still keep asking. Don't do it alone, get help .

All your videos I watch and they all touch me, but this video of Michael was profound from the beginning. He held nothing back, he was honest about everything. But my heart was breaking he desperately needs help with his wounds. I only hope he gets into his apt soon to be off the streets being disabled. It's sad his maternal mother introduced him to very addictive drugs ....knowing that the drugs could lead to life of addiction.
I was in a group home after I finished treatment under civil commitment. This guy lost part of his arm from doing heroin and passed out on top of his arm losing circulation to his arm. He didn't even know how long he was passed out with his arm underneath his torso. So it's not just all the crap they're putting in the dope that can cause loss of limbs. But Michael ur a very intelligent young man I'm sure that u would succeed greatly in any way possible if u chose to get sober 😉

Michael seems like a chill guy! It should be illegal to turn off any utilities when there are children in a house? I mean, yes, utilities should be paid for, but for struggling families, maybe some sort of financial plan should be tried with both parties. I pray he can get his health ( especially his legs) under control & that he soon tries rehab & can stick to it 🙏🏼. I pray for all these lost souls & that they get to their ‘AHA’ moment & go get that help they need

OMG his legs! Nooo! God that can't be good at all! He needs treatment so badly, omg I hope he goes into rehab. And his poor feet, I wish I could run over there and give him some socks and shoes.
I had a family member who needed help and I knew I could not help them on my own so I had to ask for help from other people. And keep asking, and asking, and I still keep asking. Don't do it alone, get help .
