How’s the heater working? How quick does it heat up the garage? Is it a personal heater or does it heat the whole garage? I’m considering a heat pump for my garage. I bought 2 small electrical heaters from Crappy but they are basically a personal heater. My garage is insulated but is too chilly to work in and it hasn’t even dipped below zero yet.
Yeah it’s great - heats the whole 16’x24’ garage toasty warm no problem at all. A heat pump would be great as well… no question. Maybe better as you could set it and forget it. The diesel heater needs refuelling.
@a heat pump is 4600. I have had no use for cooling or heating up until this point. This 120 $ heater might work good enough for Jan-March. Do you just run it while you’re in there? How much fuel does it use per hour?
@@theradiation7420It’s definitely cost effective! I just got it running so I don’t have a lot of info, but there’s plenty of info online… they’re getting super popular. Some folks use a large fuel tank that lasts a very long time… I ran it for a few hours yesterday while I was in the house, with a wifi security camera watching it so I could check that everything was ok and to see the temperature and it all worked flawlessly. Today I cranked it to the max to see that the exhaust would be fine with the cut-through where it goes outside (it was). I’m pretty impressed! Check Amazon for different model, and TH-cam for reviews. Cheers!
