Kayley Stead, 27, discovered she wasn't going to marry her partner of almost four years the morning of her do.
Despite the heartbreak, Kayley decided to go ahead with the big day, surrounded with her loved ones around her, on September 15 at Oxwich Bay Hotel in Gower, Swansea, Wales.

They should actually turn it into a little thing amongst each other to celebrate that day as "support/love" day

Being left at the alter is 100 times better than getting a divorce. And if kids are involved later on then that is truly heartbreaking. My daughter knew the night before her wedding it was a mistake but her then fiancé told her cold feet was normal and guilted her into going through with the wedding, they were married seven years, she was unhappy through out the marriage, they got divorced and a few years later both found love again. My daughter has been joyously and happily married for five years now to someone who is a wonderful man and fabulous step dad he is also her best friend. My former son in law is also married to an extremely wonderful woman who is a fabulous stepmother to my granddaughter, both family’s get along great and are doing a wonderful job of co parenting. Have faith that the right one is out there waiting for you too.

My opinion is, it’s better to be jilted than to pay for an extremely expensive divorce down the road. This guy did not handle himself in a proper way, but it happened. She handled it with dignity and now she can move on with her life.

He also helped with the wedding planning (trying cakes together, touring venues together, etc). No one, not even the groomsmen, had any indication he would do this.
