You have to emotionally detach yourself and examine everything from a 3rd party perspective. (Her mature outlooks show she’s likely done that). If you “tell you story” emotionally, each time you tell it; it’ll break you. It’s like staying in a dark room, feeding a monster. @Dinnerthedaythebanksareopen Getting thrown 30+ feet in the air means you fall 30+ feet at whatever speed her body was traveling after being ejected So in essence hitting that wire as destructive as it was to her body, acted sort of as a net decelerating her body velocity. I see your point, but, she's alive so not a parents worst nightmare.
how about instead of wishing into the air you just take care of your kids idk
It's definitely not every parents worst nightmare...
I'm sorry people feel the need to be so rude.
@@spritemarie it's nothing against me, it's their own issues. Thank you though. My opinion is just that. I can see you have a good heart.
Amazingly strong young woman!! Your just as vibrant and beautiful as before. We all do things when we were young we shouldn't do. Keep moving forward and your helping many . Bless you
You poor child. I’m so glad you survived this horrible accident.
Glad they saved the arm. Tragic, but she gained perspective. She's a motivational story.
Landing on that power line, probably saved her life. This is a remarkable young lady, and she’s has made a big difference in a lot of people’s lives. She’s going to be successful in whatever she does.
It definitely saved her life.
How so? She was electrocuted so wouldn’t it be more dangerous?
@Dinnerthedaythebanksareopen Getting thrown 30+ feet in the air means you fall 30+ feet at whatever speed her body was traveling after being ejected So in essence hitting that wire as destructive as it was to her body, acted sort of as a net decelerating her body velocity. Hitting the ground would have certainly been fatal.
There is a video of a man that rolled his vehicle on the iirc 405 fwy. In Los Angeles, he was ejected and hit the large green 405 fwy. Sign his body came to rest on the catwalk 25" above the freeway.
He did not survive.
@@Dinnerthedaythebanksareopenshe could’ve been torn into pieces hitting the road so yes it saved her.
And the accident itself saved her life as well. Changed her attitude.
Never give up, sweet girl. You're here with us for a reason!
That girl had an angel looking over her..... literally saved her life same time it was being tested!!! Thats crazy!!
The angel didn't just tell her to put her seatbelt on?
@@Brandon-qr2or No, because we have free will to make our own decisions.
@@Brandon-qr2or She is a warning to her witnesses. If she didn't put her seatbelt on then, she wouldn't have it on the next time if this event didn't happen.
@@PALINDROMA. How is telling someone to wear a seat belt violating their free will? If someone is driving down a road and you know it leads off a cliff, would you avoid warning the driver to not "violate their free will?" Of course not. You would be a psychopath not to warn and try to stop the accident. God could have easily stopped this horrific crash, but chose not to. God is a psychopath. And how is "saving her life" AFTER the accident not violating her free will? And if my free will has to be violated to save me from this horrible crash, then I will gladly accept the violation
because its common sense to ALWAYS wear your seatbelt no? what angel finna come down and tell you "wear your seatbelt NOW or your gonna lose a leg"@@WhatIsThis-zq4hk
I was paralysed with a broken neck at 23 from a motorcycle accident. Everything she has said is true. I went from a similar situation has hers, with not being able to anything to leaving the hospital in my wheelchair able to look after myself with some background help. I am now 52 and still going strong.
Glad you made it and continue to thrive! ❤
My oldest son got into a car accident. He fell asleep, hit a driveway going sideways. Rolled it in air, they figured 7 times. Somewhere in those 7 he flew out. Car hit and rolled another 5 to 7 times end for end. I was at work a half mile away. And saw ambulance, fire department, and police lights. Thought boy that must be a bad one. Didn't find out for about half hour. Then couldn't leave until someone took over. By the time I left a helicopter was talking off. He was 19 then, now he is 39. Still has problems from accident. But he is alive.
God bless your son.

Love the kids attitude. I am proud of her.🙏🏽
Girl was mangled on a power line, lost her legs, and survived. If that ain't luck then I don't know what is, injuries would've be far less severe if she buckled up though. Glad she's okay regardless, but hot damn the state the first responders must've found her in was probably something out of a horror movie.
First responder -"I can hear someone calling for help but can't see them anywhere."
Second responder -"I know, weird. Let's keep looking."
God saved her, it wasn’t luck! It was a miracle ❤❤❤
She would have been crushed by the impact in the car had she not been thrown
She lost ONE leg. Not "legs."
@krashd and then they see blood dripping down
First responder:"what's that"
Second responder:"look up"
And they see a body and their blood just raining on them
It is a miracle she was thrown up so high, but the even bigger miracle to me was that the wire held onto her that probably saved her life. Great respect to you for your great attitude through whole ordeal.
Where she was driving and went off the road she was above the power lines she didn't fly up in the air she was more falling down and landed on the power line either way it's very crazy I couldn't imagine going through something so extreme she did a better job staying calm than I would have soon I saw all that blood I would have passed out lol
How did a powerline cauterize anything if it didnt break or hit the ground ?
@@bryancoyne9692oh really? I thought she was flung in the air as well
@@MainStreamRegimeDemocrats A power line doesn't have to be down or broken to send electricity through something or someone it contacts.
@@MainStreamRegimeDemocrats yeah I'm wondering how it electrocuted her if she didn't touch the ground... maybe she touched 2 lines at once?
She said "my vein got cautorized when i got electricuted", casually. My goodness. She got angels for sure.
God bless this strong and brave young lady.
She has such a strong spirit.
and as intelligent as a half eaten grape. Wear your seatbelt.
@@damidnightgolfer Who hurt you dude?
@@damidnightgolfershe was a teenager…
Brave girl, helping others by telling how badly she was injured and copes with it.
Nearly kills herself and her best friends because she was upset and distracted over a boyfriend.
Brave and bold.
The fact that she landed on the powerline and not on the ground probably saved her life as well. She should be thankfull to that powerline.
Hell of a girl!! The strength it must have taken to not only survive the accident, and the injuries, but to come through it with such a positive attitude, is amazing.
I was in an extremely serious car crash slightly over a year before hers and it almost took my life. 10 minutes longer without medical attention i would've been dead. I had just turned 19. I had broken my back in multiple places including my spine, broke half of my ribs, shattered my right leg and ankle, broke my nose and a couple fingers, my lugs collapsed, my throat closed up, and i had a very serious concussion that put me into a coma. Coming from someone who almost died and had a slight chance of walking again she my friends is one hell of a fighter. I truly believe she is much stronger than me. My damage was temporary hers is lifelong and to be so young and get thrown into a situation is unbelievably difficult to endure. She has my respect for as long as i live.
You sound very strong too. Best wishes in your recovery 💚
The human mind can get used to almost anything. Just gotta keep living. Just take the drugs to numb the pain and go on. One day you realize you weren't unlucky, but lucky to survive and to get a lease on life.
@kato093 This was an unfortunate situation for this young lady. Your anology of life is spot on. We all suffer in some way from life's troubles
Why say she is stronger than you???? Dylon you sound awesome yourself😂😂😂 funny how others see us ....I hope your healing journey fix your hurt and pain....big hugs from bonny Scotland ...I'm glad you survived , both of you!!!! Far to young to leave this planet❤....
Why did you have to make it about yourself??
YOU HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!! I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself a little. I have MS, Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, Asthma, Joint replacements and on and on. Boy, I just realized I am such a winner. I never share my depression with anyone. They see the happy me that can do anything. Well I love you and you keep sharing your spirit. I think I need to shut up and feel blessed. You have made me see that I'm not bad off at all. I listened to your story and now I appreciate a real struggle and recovery. May God give you all his best blessings.
We’re all human. It’s natural to throw a pity party for yourself now and then. What matters is not dwelling there. But any loss or significant change in bodily function involves a grief process all its own. So don’t beat yourself up either
Just a suggestion - sort out your DIET, the very food you either do or don't eat. There is so much information out there. Seriously, even if you're older - you don't have to suffer. Life can and will get better ! ✝🌈
Please continue to fight and stay blessed! And it’s ok if you need to vent and complain.. you’re human.. better out than in! ❤
I share a similar story and reaction as you. She has had a positive influence in other people's lives by sharing her experiences.
