We Break After Simple Recovery

- We got a call about someone broke on Cliffhanger Trail. They said they thought it might be a crank position sensor. So we went to the parts store and picked one up. We got up to the vehicle and replaced the sensor and it fired right up. So we followed them out. Right at the last set of obstacles we realized one front hub had broke on Wile E. Since we had recently had a hub failure on it we didn't have the spare anymore. So we had to do some winching and pulling to get it up and back on the main road. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

I started watching your channel after watching MOR during COVID, however they've sorta drifted from the reason I enjoyed recovery. Without a doubt, you have delivered and have been very consistent with your audience. Keep up the great work, guys.
I don't watch Matt's channel anymore also
Thank you for watching! We appreciate the support!
And thanks for not making everything a music montage. I like the real sounds.
@@Clawson_customsagree,matts channel is boring to watch compared to this.
@beadblaster9508 💯 and it's lost it's small down to earth real life vibe. That's why I don't watch Matt anymore
Thanks guys for not making your channel a solid commercial show for stuff I couldn’t afford if I did want it. Instead we get great off road recoveries by one of, if not THE BEST team out there. Great episode
Yep, this channel still feels 100% right.
Indeed
I concur.
That's what you get when the guy is actually charging customers and brings you along. Rather than creating junk for advertisers. God I pray this channel never gets the TH-camr mind virus.
@@briangalloway3684 I don't ever want to be fake. But to be completely honest I will have to start doing ads in occasional videos(don't worry, no fishing games). As hard as I've tried to not be a "sellout" as everyone says. This is still a business, and if businesses aren't successful I can't reward my crew and advance my life. Which let's be completely honest, who starts a business to just do as well as they were? The goal is to grow and evolve. I don't ever want to change my content or fake anything, but I would love to own my own home someday and provide for my family.
Just let Mike know that I do appreciate him showing us some of the beautiful scenery on these recoveries. That's. nice. for us who are on the East Coast and not able to see anything like that In person. Thanks, Mike.
We love the footage that he gets too. Never let’s us forget how beautiful this area is. Hopefully you can make a trip out one day! Thanks for watching!
I'm from maine, spent about a year in Arizona in my 20s. Couldn't agree more I love when he kinda gets lost looking at features.
I started watching when there was only Rory, Trail Mater, and sometimes Lilly. Shawn came on a little latter but didn’t speak. I remember the episode were you gave Lilly the camera and she started doing excellent commentary with out prompting. Now the fleet has increased, the video quality is better. Shawn does an excellent job of wheeling, repairing and providing interesting commentary. Mike joined the crew and has besides doing a knock out job on the camera also adds humour and sometimes a different variation of the truth. Because of the reality of the videos and the people on it continues to be the reason why you’re still my favourite of all genres of channels that I watch
Wow! Thanks for sticking with us! We appreciate the support!
Amen, brother! It has been great to watch this team coalesce. Definitely the best on TH-cam.
Always enjoy your style of wheeling and those other two characters who work for you.
CPS.........$50,
Trailmater team install......$500,
Having Rory spot your line......PRICELESS.
Not only are the two wreckers at the top of the game, but the buggy is awesomely strong as well. Rory knows stuff.
Rory's kind of like Door-Dash for auto parts. --- Thanks for the amazing upload. ---
I seriously NEVER get tired of this channel and the recoverys you do! And I seriously appreciate that you don't play stupid music in the background! I love hearing All the squeaks and knocks! It keeps it real!💯
It shows how tough them trails are when one wheel stops pulling and you have to pull line on stuff you usually just drive up .
I don’t like my 2yo son watching a lot of tv or have access to ipad etc but he sure enjoys sitting back with me and watching you guys…the whole time he is “wow, whoa!”
😂
Awesome! Thanks for the support!
That's why I love watching your videos, Rory. You always try to fix the problem and see what is needed to get your customers back home safely. Great teamwork, everyone.
Thank you for watching! We appreciate the support!
The amount of cliffhangers in the intro did the trail justice.
Yea gotta love those easy fixes. specially when you may have had a string of not so easy ones. Way to go Guys.
That big wheeled buggy is impressive.
Rory, that buggy you drive is a beast 💪
goodonya boys ⚡️
great viewing in Australia 🇦🇺 👍
Pretty amazing what one dead wheel does. Shows how tough those obstacles are when a really capable vehicle and driver can't make it in 3 wheel drive. Cliffhanger is a really nice trail.
Team Trailmater proved in this video why it is called Cliffhanger. They all got challenged on those cliffs.
More rock and roll fun in the sun. I’m jealous. Thanks dudes
You guys are so awesome and so real. You guys have truly set the bar for what other men should be and what the other recovery guys should be.
Mighty fine job on the sensor replacement. Driving out is always better than being drug out!! LOL!! Good luck on getting the hub fixed on the buggy!! Keep up the great work!!!
Thanks guys for the hard work
Best thing to do. Blame it on the person that is not there.
100% Worked for me.
Solid plan! Or blame it in the last guy to drive it in some cases. Thanks for watching!
Nice recovery on a beautiful day...great video Justin
Watching you guys wheel i always enjoy. you make it look effortless and easy. Keep up the great work
That pebble that Shawn threw into the rock pile at 16:12 was the one that helped the Jeep make it over!
Sometimes that’s all it takes. Shawn has the magic touch. Thanks for watching!
Appreciate you guys bringing the sensor in to me! Hated to see the busted hub, but at least it made for a great video. 😂
customer was a good driver, well done
I don't care for all the scenes of wheels, but I love seeing the landscape, the geology and Moquie marbles of your area!
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Break it - fix it - break it -fix it - so goes the cycle of life.
😊
Love getting new videos
Really enjoy your content...Rory..Shawn ..Mike...keep up the awesome work
Great title. Not beating about the bush.
Always a great video. I like the trademark outtakes at the end.
We appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Thank you Rory and crew for the adventure , seeing some beautiful scenery and great recovery !
Note to self. Don’t try to stack round rocks and then drive over them. Shawn is always the first one to help build trail 😂.More great scenery Mike,
Great job again.
Your green screen CGI filming is second to none 😎 it just looks so real
I love these weekend videos!
Great driving boys. I love to see ya'll out there saving lives and giving 'em hell the whole time.
The roadrunner gotcha! Next episode we paint a fake tunnel!!!
Rory's driving skills are really second to none! He never ceases to amaze me! Especially when driving Mater! No one drives like the man!
I really appreciate that! Thank you for watching
@trailmater Seriously, I look forward to Mater videos every day! Where I live, there is no offroad, Long Island Sucks! We had a few illegal little spots, but they started following everyone with the helicopter 🚁 The only BLM here means something way different 😆 But we travel usually to Rausch Creek PA offroad park, or AOAA Offroad Park, basically, Pennsylvania or Pennsylvania! Putting the tons in the Tacoma soon, then the natural offroad pilgrimage to MOAB and Rubicon! No Trailer! First Stop is MOAB Motorsports!
Them tires become an anchor when they don't spin.😂
Poor Wil e. He's usually such a smooth ride. Get better soon.😢
Great to see a 2dr JK out on the trails killing it mostly, Made me miss mine.
I had an 07 Rubicon on 35's with a custom lift and the last time i had to do 3 wheel drive was in Ocean shores in tar/mud. I was axle deep and took 4 other vehicles to pull me out to act as a pulling point with my 8274. I busted the stub shaft that was chromoly.
So Wise , Thank you for showing 3 wd in action. a fine team in action
Fun times on the red rocks
Them gears in the buggy make a big difference.
Rory you have the best guys for the job. Plus their filming abilities. Love the scenery and the work you all do.
Thank you very much! We appreciate the support!
I find it exceptionally relaxing to watch you guys work.
Nice work. Driving it out is much easier. I'm sure Shawn could have nursed Wile out by himself if he had to, but always good to run with somebody. Thanks for sharing
I have heard of road side assistance AAA ........ But this is a whole new level!! Trailside Assistance!! TRIPPLE MATTER STYLE !!!
It is always something that needs fixing , never fails. Thanks for being there guys, keep it up
Love this channel,❤️🙏 keep up the stellar content! 🙏❤️😎🤙
We will try! Thank you for watching!
Great job everyone
We appreciate you watching! Thanks!
Love watching these guys work!
We appreciate the support! Thank you for watching!
Gorgeous drive.
Love watching the problem solving getting broken rigs up thise obstacles.
I was saying at one point, they need to try going up backwards, and sure enough, you did. Im learning. :D
Incredible scenery, including the up closes of the wheels at the obstacles. I love those shots.
You guys are hella good mechanics 💯
We appreciate that! Thank you for watching!
Another great show, keep up the great job, you guys might not like it (sorry) but I enjoy the wee jobs on your gear when things break at work.
Real life working and not just building for us watching and content.
We need your under body camera view (2:28) in future off road video games. Your new 3-D camera produces wonderful shots when held below the rock sliders. Please keep up the wonderful artistic, natural photography you take.
So awesome watching your videos and seeing the crew overcome problems and challenges. Great work
Great Video as always! Thanks
We appreciate that! Thank you!
Mike and Sean AND Rory little banter at the end, always a good for a laugh 😅
😂 Thanks! We appreciate the support & sticking with us through to the end!
@@trailmater most welcome. All my years of have taught me one very important thing, if you leave before the ending you miss out on something.
Thanks for posting.
Always a great time to be had by all. 😊 Enjoy your videos, keep up the good work!
I so enjoy watching your vehicles climb things that I didn't think they would make it up.
2;00 the buggy just goes and goes. very capeable, top performer of the fleet
Thanks! We appreciate your support!
Thanks for sharing :-)
Thank you for watching & supporting us!
09:56 You guys rock!🤘
...
Get it? Rock. Ha ha, how punny! 😁😁😁
SO punny! 😂 Thanks for watching!
Good demonstration about why lockers are so important
Well the boys are at it again, Stuck at Cliffhanger, mater, Shawn & mike will get the job done as alwaysOnly the best will do.👍👍👍
Another great video from the Trail Mater Team with a trail repair of a Jeep with a change of a crank sensor then Wile E broke a shaft and then it was tough getting out of Cliff Hanger.
Now i dont need to watch.
Spoiler
Always enjoy the ride alongs,to see what looks impossible, and he just goes right up or down it,thumbs-up
Thanks! We appreciate the support!
Man Rory the buggy is looking great that thing is a beast
It is amazing how one bad hub can hinder you so. There are lots of people who don't have a front locker.
Great filming from Mike under the car, love watching that. I had a problem with my Toyota free wheeling hub and I think it was because I tried to unlock it while it was still in 4WD with possibly tension on it, and maybe I installed it incorrectly the time before.
Another great video from, some sincerely great guys.
We appreciate the support! Thank you for watching!
@@trailmater It's been my pleasure. You keep posting. I'll keep watching maybe on my next trip down that way. I'll actually get to shake. Mike and Sean's hands also.
Fix one , break one. Guess that’s the way it goes. God Bless 😊 Shawn should stop breaking things, hahaha 😊
Thanks for making
Thank you for the support!
Great video trailmater team!
Love yalls videos!
Thanks so much! We appreciate you watching!
Great video as always!
Watching one of Laura Farms videos the other day she was thinking of you guys and hoping all is well.
That really shows just how difficult those obstacles are without proper equipment
Incredible machines.
Shaun broke it!! Nice job on the Jeep, it sure had some bent and torn bits of metal under it.
if sean keeps eating like he does you might have to put an extra axle on wile E , another great video thank you from the UK
Another banger gentleman!
Between Trailmater, Dirtbilly Deluxe and some incredible Olympics,I am set on my viewing options for Recovery from second surgery from Dirtbike accident. Thanks for keeping the videos coming, back to wheeling soon!😊
Glad you’re on the road to recovery! Thanks for watching!
@@trailmater Thank you!watching now!
Wear and tear is impressive.
I just made a Connecticut home grown tomato salad while watching this. So much better than what you guys go through
The amount of fatigue in ol'trailmater's gotta be severe…
and all your old emergency repairs…
Stay safe, brother…
Thanks guys!
We appreciate the support!

very skillful, very good, I really like your videos
Good god that 12$ Buggy is such a weapon! No big blown v8, no colossal tires, it just kinda.. THINGS. Gotta go, byyyeeeeee. What a rig!
Good Job!
Thank You :)
Man that green buggy makes shit look easy. So cool.
The rescue jeep can flex out
