Hey, thank you for watching! This video didn't do as well as I'd have hoped. I think it's interesting, I'm glad there are others out there, lol.

I dig the editing/energy on this vid man!!!

Oh I am definitely asking for this comparison as going for a super small form factor build required these power constraints and thermal comparison - thanks heaps!!!

Hey, no problem! Thanks for watching :). I'm always interested in comparisons like this, but don't see them a lot, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Nice test, I was always wondering about this

That's what this Channel's about at it's core, those odd or seemingly random questions that I or other people have.

Love to see a comparison to the RX 6600 non XT I find it fairly comparable to the 3060. Interesting premise to the video cheers

If I could, I definitely would. I haven't been able to get my hands on any of the newer AMD GPU's, unfortunately.

Undervolt + power limit 3080Ti = better FPS. Im using 3080 undervolt daily.

WOOOW dude yu just showed how much power consumption affects performance...lol 3060ti got same fps as 3080ti with same power limit gate! around 170watts. ehh dude, yu have it mine SUB:P

I mainly wanted to see how limiting power would affect each GPU with such a wide range of Cuda Cores and vRam configurations. Turns out, in this comparison, the 3060 Ti is the sweet spot. If I'd had a 3070 for testing I'd have included that too.
Thanks for the Sub! I appreciate it :)

@@hardlytech9072 np pal:) I mainly play in fallout 76 now and heavy modding it and wit hnew rig is muc better. I even considering putting my older 1650super to slower pci E 4.0 1x and use it on second monitor for the system and other stuff ,main gpu 3060ti will be purely used for any game ONLY. Always experimenting:)

@@Dooncat Not a bad idea for an old GPU. Could even potentially use it for dedicated PhysX.

@Neallord That's not a bad idea. That kind of behavior is pretty normal. Most clocks are based on thermal performance and available power.
