    • @hardlytech9072
      @hardlytech9072 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Alexutzzu That's really tough to say, to be honest. In a case without good airflow, temps will probably be fairly high on this GPU. That said, these GPU's are designed to be stable at high temps. It's a very good 1080p and 1440p card. The 4770k will be a bottleneck, but, probably not as bad as you might think. Personally, I'd probably go for it. If you have the money, and you plan to upgrade other components later, I think it'd be a good upgrade from the 1650. The 3050 wouldn't be much benefit, so I'd go for the 3060. Also, depending on your circumstances, and how much support you can get from your friend, if there does end up being an issue with the new GPU, you can always RMA it, and get a replacement. I hope this helps!

      @@hardlytech9072 Do you think a case with 2 fans one that gives cold airflow to the case and the one on the back that gets the heat out are enough to cool this gpu? Plus the cpu fan and the gpu fan itself i dont play newer games the only "new game" that i would play is cyberpunk 2077 and i hope i can play it at high settings with a good fps ig ill see how it goes but for now all i can say is that its working decent i was thinking of doing an undervolt to the gpu as well but im not sure it is worth it

    Okayyy, soo.. I know this card is going on 3 years old and this is going to be a super stupid question but I'm gunna ask anyways, lol. Is this card worth it?!? I have an opportunity to MAYBE grab it for VERY VERY cheap!! Like 20-40$ cheap in an Amazon online auction. Does this card stay cool after longer uses? I heard it got really warm after a little bit of time and that it takes a little bit to cool down because it's only a single fan. Any issues with that long term? I meannn, I'm gunna bid on it regardless, I'm just wondering what to expect if I do win it, and I more than likely will, lol.

    • @hardlytech9072
      @hardlytech9072 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's not a dumb question. I've heard of a few people having this card and it running hot, but mine has been in a few different cases, one with poor airflow, and it's run cool. It helps to have good airflow in your case, directly to and away from the fan on this GPU, and it helps to set your own fan curve using something like MSI Afterburner. The heatsink on this thing is large and does a good job, imo.

    • @OhioBoii330
      @OhioBoii330 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @hardlytech9072 I appreciate that bud. The only reason I thought it was a dumb question was because of how cheap I have an opportunity to get it for, lol. However, and this might not be smart either, but I removed the side glass from my PC to help with airflow, too. My pc is under my desk and I don't eat or drink at the pc. I do have a water bottle I use, so if I did knock it over, it won't spill. I don't have any pets, so no pet hair gets in there. I do blow it out if it looks like it's getting a little dusty, but I've never had any issues so far with the side glass being removed and the temps are always cool.

    • @hardlytech9072
      @hardlytech9072 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@OhioBoii330 Nothing wrong with removing the glass if it helps and you don't mind it. For reference, with a custom fan curve, in an NR200P case with the glass panel on, no bottom fans, but 2 top exhaust fans, this GPU runs between 45c-65c depending on load. The custom fan curve, I believe, is set to 30% fan at 30c and a linear ramp up to 100% fan at 80c. The fan, so far has been very quiet. If you're not sure about the purchase, are you able to ask the seller questions? That's a cheap price.

    • @OhioBoii330
      @OhioBoii330 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @hardlytech9072 Again, I appreciate the quick reply, feedback and instruction. Unfortunately, I can not contact a seller. It's on an Amazon return, damaged box or open box auction app. If the product itself is damaged, they tell you in the description. But everything starts at literally 1$. Gaming pcs, laptops, GPUs, CPUs, mobos, full giant swimming pools, hot tubs ect. Literally anything you can find on Amazon is on here being auctioned off starting at 1$. So, that's why it's so cheap. Im in a "bidding war" with someone for that GPU now. But won't know until tomorrow night sometime when the auction ends.

      I understand your frustration, I've had problems like this with GPU's before, CPU's and RAM as well. However, a sample size of 1 isn't enough reason to completely avoid a product, in my opinion. Mine has run cool, no overheating or crashing at all. I highly recommend it. With a single fan GPU like this one, it's important to have good airflow in whichever case it's used in. That said, in my use case, it's in an NR200 which has fairly poor airflow.

    I bought this gpu 3 months ago and was very excited to get it running. Unfortunately I could never figure out how to find the proper power cable for it. I spoke to Thermaltake and ASUS and nothing they told me helped. I even bought a new psu to run it but the cables simply did not match the configuration on the gpu. Nothing I tried worked. I don't understand why I seem to be the only person in the comments here not having the same problem, especially given that ASUS provides no tech support or support documentation for this model. I've had it too long to return with all my hopeful but useless purchases to correct this mess so I'm stuck with a $300 paperweight unless somebody can give me some insight.

    • @hardlytech9072

      If you're using the AMD Adrenaline software suite, you can go to the overclock settings and turn off the automatic fan controls. Then you can select a more aggressive fan curve based on what temps you'd like to have the fans increase their speed at. For instance 20% fan speed at 30c, 40% fan speed at 40c etc. I hope this helps.

    Hey dude, love the videos! Just wanna ask if the MSI 6750 XT Gaming X TRIO is also a good GPU since I've heard many mixed reviews about it. It's also a 3-fan GPU so I'm not sure if it'll be loud or not 😅. Thanks! 👍

    • @hardlytech9072
      @hardlytech9072 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      MSI isn't the best option for quality, outside if their top tier GPU options. But, if you're on a budget, and you don't intend to do much, or any overclocking, they do just fine. When I look for a GPU for myself, I look at the GPU's warranty, and how the company handles their RMA claims. Then I like to look at their heatsink design (density of the fin-stacks, airflow configuration of the fans, power regulation on the pcb). My XFX being loud may have been an outlier, but I believe it has to do with the fins being so close together and the fans moving a lot of air.

      @hardlytech9072 👍 Thanks for replying dude! But, no, I don't really plan to overclock at all with my gpu since I'll be mainly using it for gaming. The reason why I wanted MSI was just because it looked more aesthetically pleasing compared to XFX's card. However, I've read many reviews about how they handle RMA claims, and let's just say they're a bit.. mixed? Bad on the most part, though, which has made me rethink my decision since I want my first PC build to be a clean one! So.. I'm asking you, a guy who owns the XFX 6750xt, should I buy MSI or XFX? @hardlytech9072 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@stormw4993 I apologize for the late reply. It depends on what you're planning on running using your PC. If you're going to be doing music/video production, or A.I. training, data center work, I would suggest 64GB or above. If you're going to be mainly gaming, then I'd suggest 32GB, 16GB if you're on a budget. Whether that's in a 2x? or 4x? configuration depends on whether or not you're building a newer AMD/Intel setup or using older components. The newer chipsets that support DDR5 no longer have a real tangible performance difference between running 2 dimms or 4 dimms. As far as upgrading other components, that isn't really necessary. Your GPU/CPU/Storage will treat the ram the same either way you go. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

      Well, the most recent NFS I'd probably play at 1080p/1440p on this GPU, or use upscaling. But it's definitely capable enough for the NFS series. As far as DX12, it wouldn't really change the way the game is designed to look. The advantage would come from potential optimizations that DX12 offers over DX11, which could potentially improve performance. DX12 can be hit or miss at times, though.
