    Great vid. DLSS and VRR are the way to go IMO. It is also refreshing to see you point out the usefulness of VRR. It doesn't get the attention it should. I started using Freesync with a FX8350 and RX 470 back in 2016, and it made a huge difference. Every monitor I have bought since, has had VRR.
    I will be playing this at1440p RT + DLSS 5800X + 3060ti + 32GB 3600 CL18. It looks like from this video, I might have to tweak settings a bit, since it only has 8GB.
    I am already subbed, so I liked and commented here, to help the algorithm. Keep the great content coming. No way your channel is not going to grow, with how straight forward and useful the content is.

      Thanks, I appreciate the help with the algorithm!
      Yeah, VRR is definitely a big help, especially with games that have such a wide range of FPS during gameplay. I try to mention it just so that people will know that even though it may not be a constant 60fps, it can still be a smooth experience.

      It definitely pushes the 3060. I'm looking forward to seeing what the 6750 XT can do in the same scenarios.

      @@hardlytech9072 you know how certain low latency RAM helps games like Warzone - I wonder if it helps in this game. I guess a chip like the 5800X3D puts that theory to bed though

    • @hardlytech9072

      @@FIVESTRZ It's a possibility. I run fairly low timings on my RAM. In a lot of games, tighter timings help, but mainly with minimums/average framerates. Still, an improvement is an improvement.

    • @FIVESTRZ
      @FIVESTRZ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@hardlytech9072 yea I feel like better timings can really help boost performance a ton when pairs with other little things that give you 5-10 FPS but alone wouldn’t matter much like a GPU OC, CPU OC, and closing background tasks next thing you know you’re hitting 200FPS instead of 165

    • @hardlytech9072
      @hardlytech9072  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FIVESTRZ Definitely. There are a lot of little things that eat away at performance, as you say.

    I have an RTX 3060 with an i9-9900k and the game is usually stuttering (especially when swinging around the city). I have tried turning off hyperthreading in the BIOS to improve CPU usage but it didn't help me that much. It doesn't matter what settings I use, the game is always stuttering and keeps dropping to around 50-60 FPS.

      Is the game installed on a SSD? If not I would recommend it. I would also try using Intelligent Standby List Cleaner. I've seen cases where running ISLC on the background solved this issue.

      @@willianjohnam7350 Initially it was on an HHD, but I switched it to an SSD, however it's still not performing well. I'll try the Standby List Cleaner next. Thanks for the advice.

      @@ramen_noodles96 Do you know if your motherboard supports Resizable Bar? I had ReBar turned on for this test scenerio. I'm curious if having it off would cause any difference.
      Second thing to come to mind, do you run any overlays like Steam Overlay when playing?
      Do you know what speed/timings your RAM is running?
      I don't think this bug would persist in this game, but there are some games that react negatively to Logitech products.
      Only other immediate thing could be potentially RGB software. My old MSI Mobo's RGB software on my old 9900k system would cause stuttering in Dirt Rally 2.0.
      If you do end up fixing the stuttering, let us know what fixed it. It might help someone else having the same/similar issue. I'll have to look into this and see if there's a fix.

      @@hardlytech9072 I've been trying to turn on Resizable Bar, but it's not in my BIOS. I have the latest BIOS version but the Clever Access Memory isn't anywhere. I guess it's because i have an i9-9900k. Only the 10&11 series are supported unfortunately.
      I have a DDR4 32GB RAM, with 3200 MHz Speed.
