This video has come in the most perfect time. I am now a senior in high school and I God has been telling me that he's unrolling the plans he has for my future. He's given me this new boldness I've never had before. I used to say "when I grow up ill go to another church where I feel like I can grow" " when I get older I will be able to not care what my parents think and tell strangers that God loves them" I always was a coward when I was small, but now I feel like God's telling me I need to stop because he is bringing me closer to what he's calling me to do.
Listen…Preston starting this episode off by singing the unofficial “theme song” let me know right away that he was gonna be preaching. And preach he did. I needed to hear this. Lord, please help me to be bold. ❤
God's timing with these podcasts is marvelous! Thanks for blessing the Church with ya'lls ministry. Praying for protection from the enemy as you two continue to serve the Lord your family and the Church💛🧡❤️
When I think of boldness I also think of people committing to an act not necessarily out of obedience to God but having a deep understanding that it’s just the “right thing to do” Like Ruth staying with Naomi despite being a foreigner with no means of provision, Esther walking into the King’s presence knowing full well she could die, Abigail seeking mercy from David when he and his men were on there way to slaughter her household, or the woman with the issue of blood pushing through the crowd to touch Jesus despite her uncleanliness They weren’t necessarily obeying a command from God, though God’s hand was obviously over each of their lives, but acting out in what they “just had to do” in the moment, if that makes sense

We just had our 2nd child and my husband got notice while on parental leave that he would be laid off. Our baby wasn’t even a week old yet. So when Jackie started talking about seasons of provision being sketch is where we at lol. In this time I’ve been reminding my husband and myself who God is and what He has done in us, through us and for us. He is so good, so faithful, so merciful, and so kind to us. We give Him thanks and praise even in this season where we don’t know but He does.
Thank you Jesus ! This was exactly what I needed… I’ve been running away from this topic b/c it’s a sensitive spot for me not feeling like I’m bold enough to preach, teach or reach with the Gospel. But this podcast has illuminated the word of God in me in so many ways.. these are just a few truths God revealed to me: 1. Like Preston said a SOUND MIND ! Many a time our fear takes root in us not knowing the will of God (in this case Jesus being predestined to die) or lack of experiencing the love of God or just needing power (by the filling of the Holy Spirit) ref. 2 Timothy 1:7 So in short our fear shows our defiance by & thus need for God in some way. 2. It’s easier to be bold in what God has called me to do when I’ve made it a habit to obey Him when I don’t feel like it, I’m upset, irritated, tired, etc. so even when I’m fearful, I’m empowered to do God’s will because it’s been a practice to obey Him. So fear has no footing where obedience is rooted. 3. Boldness is not a personality - it’s a way of being in GOD. 4. Lastly, God bless you two & your team! Launching this podcast is bold I self. Living for Jesus in a world so contrary to Him is bold ! Boldness in speech AND in doing the will of God. The focus should be shifted from having a personality of boldness to doing God’s will and growing in intimacy with Him where we are assured He’s with us (“perfect love cast out all fear” - 1 John 4:18) God bless❤
She was holding back?! Let’s goooo! Unleashed Jackie walking with the boldness Holy Spirit. Can’t wait to see what will happen in the body of Christ after people realise that boldness doesn’t have to be mean but it’s truth. This made me feel empowered but outside of that, it gave me Word to focus on, so that even when I no longer feel empowered, I know I am still, very much in His hands 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
thank you JESUS for this word for your word give us boldness to walk not only by faith but even in the things we cant see. so that we are always reminded of not just what you are doing but being reminded of what you have already done. Lord i want to be bold not just in the comfort of my peers but in the moments where fear creeps in. Amen
Here is some revelation I got from this interesting take on the topic of ‘Boldness’: Based on what Preston said midway through the video, you mentioned the scripture God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. FALSE boldness is manifested in an individual out of fear that they don’t want people to see who they REALLY are… So what do they do? For example: Let me call out people on their mess and call it “being real” Let me call out false teachings and call it “being fearless” Let me be the loudest in the room and call it “being bold” No…the REALITY is, you’re really operating in fear and masking it with outlandishness and outspoken-ness (If that’s a word 😂) This was a great video. Thanks for sharing
God testing me is a way of God showing me what’s in me because He already knows. I move toward boldness as my life is purified as hold is refined in the fire causing impurities to boil to the top and be removed. What’s left is this boldness/this faith that’s absolute in truth bound in a relationship with The Most High.
I love Preston and Jackie. They have the best relationship. You can tell that they are friends and I love it. 🙏❤ I love the way Jackie looks at Preston when he's teaching. "Boldness is moving in the direction of fearlessness even if you have fear." -Jackie Hill Perry "Boldness is you showing up for Jesus in a world that hates Him." -Preston Perry
Jackie , at 10:58 you begin speaking about the very thing I’ve been disturbed by lately. Christian podcasts that find heresy everywhere. The lack of self awareness is embarrassing. I’d love to see them pivot back to Christ and his glory ❤
Boldness is obedience to God. I think sometimes in a way that doesn’t make sense to anyone. Even right now I have a word from God concerning what I need to do this year and the path I need to take and so many people are against that and I get calls from people giving “advice” to stop me from acting “crazy” and I have to be bold in this moment and set my face like a flint because God’s will has to be done in my life.
This video gave some conviction .. I really wish I had some discipleship because I’m fighting between being obedient and giving God’s warning to the world from the things He tells and shows me , to feeling bad about my delivery. I don’t want to be a heresies! Now I’m sitting here is wondering why did He call me to do something that I could be failing at!
Hey friend! Ask the Holy Spirit to fill and lead you with the love of Jesus and trust in Him that He will go before you! And follow the heavenly roadmap drawn out by the Apostles in Acts. If God has asked something of you He will ALWAYS resource you. Go in peace friend ❤
I feel inadequate when I share about God all the time. But I have found that God is faithful, and if I asked him to help me to have the right words, he is so faithful to do that. God wants to partner with you in sharing your faith.
Wow…..I understand that comment, Jackie, where you leave some conversations with individuals feeling anxious and subsequently bullied. I have been there and consequently had to end the relationship because I learned and came to an understanding that this person ultimately didn’t respect me and there was nothing I could do to change that. It came so clear ❤. I haven’t felt or dealt with it since.
God be moving and providing, this video came out after i looked at Acts 4:31 yesterday regarding boldness. and asking God whether i should speak or not, and the part where Jackie spoke about the fact that we don't have to feel bold to be bold spoke to me. also asking The Lord to give me the boldness i need. love what Preston pointed out about knowing that God is sovereign and whatever happens is because He predestined it to and will make it happen. The Lord is good.
A timely message. I’ve been considering content creation and first and foremost my audience is gonna know I love the Lord. I just feel like once ppl find out you love Jesus they’re ready to cancel you
I liked when Preston mentioned that the Romans could tell that John and Peter were uneducated men but could discern that they had been with Jesus. Despite all of the factors they could’ve used to justify ignoring what those two had to say, “they had been with Jesus” was what was remembered. My hope is that for all of us watching this video and tuning in have the same effect on our neighbors, to the extent that they say “that person knows Jesus”.
"testing is an act of revelation. I want YOU to see what is in your own heart." this was a word on its own. i never saw it that way. i even held angst toward God because i thought it was sort of a "sport" for Him.. like the pop quiz in school your math teacher would spring on you with a chuckle. nonetheless i trusted that testing had a purpose but i didn't know it was for ME. now i need to go repent & talk to God about this 😂😂
So encouraged to hear your perspective on the ones online with their pretended boldness. Their videos are building themselves up and tearing others down. That is not a ministry ....and all of their "yes men" followers only serve to bolster their pride. 😳You are honoring Christ by not naming names at this time... don't waste your time..... the Lord knows and will deal. If they are our family... may the Lord give them grace to see and a heart to turn to a ministry that is more in line with the word. Much love from above, Jb
This episode is just what I needed!!! So clear and Spirit led and truthful. I’ve been thinking about boldness lately- I used to think it was “speaking the ‘truth’ no matter what” but it was always a prideful place. Now I see it in the way you guys speak of- being led in Love by the Spirit of God- it can take a lot of boldness to pray for someone God puts on your heart, to share the gospel, to humble yourself and apologize to someone even if they also wronged you. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We are no better or worse than anyone else. Jesus is RISEN!!! So we can be bold in Him. Hallelujah!!!
Wow. I love you guys. I knew something good was coming. I felt like I needed to search for “boldness in Christ”, and typically a lot of Christian channels that stumble into my rotation inflame my insides by those you labeled so well as “heresy hunters”, so I haven’t had a ton of luck with finding social media Christians that feel this authentic. I am looking for Truth in this loud and distracted world, and He had y’all show up for me today? Thank you for your ministry. Subscribed, liked, and now gonna catch up on your content. I have a lot more to learn, and I need people so obviously bathed in the Spirit as resources in my life. And all these followers in the comment section are such beautiful people. I am in love with the vibes here. Thank you 🙏🏻❤
Wow! I’m always commenting before I finish watching the podcast- but- wow when Sir Perry spoke about switching the tomb and placing Jesus there!!!! 🔥🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I love what God is doing thru the Perry’s!! Let me tell you that my mind is so engaged with every subject bc y’all are so thorough with how the Word of God is applied in every area… in case we didn’t know or had discrepancy, now we know and can go to the Bible and read it. I love y’all and praise God for His covering and protection all around you and your family❤🙌🏽🙏🏽👏🏽♥️♥️
Hello brothers and sisters. This video was exactly what I needed as I am majoring in Sociology in my University, and it is opposed to what God values. I am constantly pinpointed to debate or speak. However, I need wisdom in how I can glorify him but speak truth 🙏 I ask that you all please pray for me.
@@NikIrchirl can I gently ask why you changed it before you took upper courses ? There are many reasons why, as we read our textbooks the author of many theories behind Sociology are against religion although they might not say Jesus in particular, it is an anti-christ spirit behind what they teach us, and they shifted making anyone who believes in religion demonic and "oppressive" and that you can freely chose to believe what you want to believe and morality is subjective which is completely not true and undermines the gospel as a whole. This is why many people in our society are hating God and think everyone has a agenda to oppress them. I am not being political but I'm just stating why it is opposed. (Before I knew what I knew I couldn't get to figure out why many people in our society hates God, although the Bible tells us in the last days they would, but there is so much more to it because they are teaching this exact curriculum to many students which questions anyone in faith and demonizes Christianity because it is so generalized in what they are teaching) I don't want to blow up these comments by adding in depth what I mean, because there would be too much to point on, but I am thinking about praying about another major, because I am really questioning it. Although I do not agree with it as a whole I genuinely love those who are incarcerated and struggling with drug addiction and originally and still want to be a therapist And case manager in both settings for his glory, but I will soon know which exact major I can take, whether if he calls me to stay or move.
Thankyou for rooting this talk in scripture! I feel like a coward not being bold in the face of the witchcraft in my family. Although i have renounced and spoken to each of them and my children and Mom and sister and Dad, having them all together at the table still pulling wishbones just brought up anger. So i bit my tongue.
Yes when I am up against financial issues man that’s where I am tested the most like God of you see this? Do you hear my prayers or see my tears? but then a tell Him I trust You Lord you have been taking care of me my whole life why would you stop now! 🙏🏾 good episode Mr and Mrs P
I just love when you squeeze Jackie with a question she pours out natural Scripture and she is serious with it! I love true Saints of God....that doesn't negate my brother Preston the fruit truly shows! I love yall so much God bless you and all of yours
"New Authority" is a great way to put it. Because when I think about Jackie Hill Perry I have thought BOLD for a very long time. The power and courage to share your story from the jump already established you in boldness. But NOW? Baby this is a new level. We're here for it. Thank God. Covering you in prayer, for any crooked way to be made straight, in Jesus name.
This topic really hit home. I'm Nigerian and God has been laying it in my heart to preach in buses as I go to work and back but I mostly do not obey. When Jackie said to process your feelings , I felt that. It also helps navigate your prayer to the exact thing to pray for. I couldn't process exactly why I didn't preach even after I've prayed. Thank you The Perry's
I love y’all’s podcast! I think boldness first and foremost is to be bold against Satan and in the spiritual world which leads us to be bold in the physical world. As Preston said not to just attack people but to be bold for Christ because it will get the devil’s attention and he will try to shut you down but be Bold and when you’ve done all you can to stand, stand!
this was great! I think you could apply this to all the feelings God commands us to have. When it come to being selfless and humble when we feel the opposite still act on the selflessness and the Lord will give us the power to be that. Love when we don't feel like it because the Lord has given us the power to do so.
When i think about boldness , i think about the apostles and disciples as boldness is mentioned alot in acts. Moreover when myself or some of my sisters and brother's in Christ go out to evangelise we always ask for Boldness to be able to preach the gospel because it is often intimidating. But also to be bold to believe that Christ can move when we go out to witness More over Paul in ephesians 6:19 requested for prayer for boldness to preach the gospel .. there is a lot to boldness.
Boldness is when you're able to speak the word to others without fear! I was that person who was kind of scared to speak the word of God and being criticized
Thank you Perry's for allowing The Lord to lead you, guide you, provide you with good content and spiritual food for Believers, and context for all. Please pray about adding benediction to the close of your podcasts because there may be at least one person who wants to accept the Salvation of Jesus Christ on the spot. Keep REPPIN Jesus and thank you! 🙌🏿🙏🏾
I love how rounded this podcast was delivered, particularly highlighting that boldness is in knowing when to speak or not to speak and overall can determine the choices we make. This podcast was both intellectual and spiritual. God be praised!
First time listening to this podcast. As a believer, I moved into a certain community. I am hated. Photographed, stalked, and despised. Why. Never troubled anyone. Reached a place in my life where I began to trust that God is with me. He brought me to this place, and I will be kept until my God is ready to move me . He promised me that he would never leave me nor forsake me. Are His promises true or not. Is my life in His hands or not. Am I one of His chosen vessels? Is he fighting my battles, or am I doing it.
Boldness is not a feeling, it’s an act of obedience toward God. 🧡🙌🏾 Amen

"boldness has more to do with obedience" absolutely! I'm going to take this wisdom with me.

Spiritual Boldness is being able to do whatever God called us to regardless if it’s uncomfortable or you may stand alone.
“If God wants you to stay here, He won’t let you get fired!” This hit me so much in this period of waiting and trusting God
It does cus im goin through lost after lost but ik God didn’t bring me this far to leave me dry . I believe he’s making room for better🙏🏾 I know he is
“Will you be able to be bold for Me, when it cost you something?”

Agreed. The times when I've been financially unstable is when I've had the hardest time trusting in the will and the timing of God.

Me right now… for the past year
I love this conversation because I'm always sick of the people who loves to call out other Christians every time for clout but not for God's Glory.
My grandma told me recently that when people are openly speaking on there belief in conversation that’s always your chance to be bold on your faith.
Preston: *speaking truth*
Jackie: “help us out”…”ok”…”I don’t know”…”quote it”…”context”…”uh huh”…“mmm”…”yeah yeah yeah yeah rah rah”…”historical context”…”UH HUUUH”…”repentance”…. I love these ppl 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Jackie giving Preston adlibs is hilarious. Thank God for this message, also sick of the hunters.

The way Jackie is hyping Preston up is everything. I love how they love each other ❣️
When I think of boldness I also think of people committing to an act not necessarily out of obedience to God but having a deep understanding that it’s just the “right thing to do”
Like Ruth staying with Naomi despite being a foreigner with no means of provision, Esther walking into the King’s presence knowing full well she could die, Abigail seeking mercy from David when he and his men were on there way to slaughter her household, or the woman with the issue of blood pushing through the crowd to touch Jesus despite her uncleanliness

“Are you speaking when the Lord wants you to speak” ….Yes that part! 🎉🙌🏽🙌🏽💯
Being bold can be so many things but it should always display the love, light and wisdom of Christ.
I agree, and if carried out by the power of the Holy Spirit it will accomplish those things you're saying.
Jackie, many years ago I asked God to give or take away my peace in taking a job offer. My husband was hurting me and I needed to hear from God.

Go off Preston 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 this whole conversation got you BOLD!
“You see things because I WANT YOU TO SAY THINGS” MY GOODNESS!!!!
"You see things cos I want you to say things" So good!!!
You cannot be bold or courageous without there being fear involved.
The definition of courage is doing something in spite of the fear you have for it.
YOU GUYS ARE JUST SO SPIRITUALLY BLESSED

So when Jackie started talking about seasons of provision being sketch is where we at lol. In this time I’ve been reminding my husband and myself who God is and what He has done in us, through us and for us. He is so good, so faithful, so merciful, and so kind to us. We give Him thanks and praise even in this season where we don’t know but He does.
Thank you Jesus ! This was exactly what I needed… I’ve been running away from this topic b/c it’s a sensitive spot for me not feeling like I’m bold enough to preach, teach or reach with the Gospel. But this podcast has illuminated the word of God in me in so many ways.. these are just a few truths God revealed to me:
1. Like Preston said a SOUND MIND ! Many a time our fear takes root in us not knowing the will of God (in this case Jesus being predestined to die) or lack of experiencing the love of God or just needing power (by the filling of the Holy Spirit) ref. 2 Timothy 1:7
So in short our fear shows our defiance by & thus need for God in some way.
The focus should be shifted from having a personality of boldness to doing God’s will and growing in intimacy with Him where we are assured He’s with us (“perfect love cast out all fear” - 1 John 4:18)
God bless❤
She was holding back?! Let’s goooo! Unleashed Jackie walking with the boldness Holy Spirit. Can’t wait to see what will happen in the body of Christ after people realise that boldness doesn’t have to be mean but it’s truth. This made me feel empowered but outside of that, it gave me Word to focus on, so that even when I no longer feel empowered, I know I am still, very much in His hands 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Yess indeed - The Apostle's boldness came from spending time with Jesus.
thank you JESUS for this word for your word give us boldness to walk not only by faith but even in the things we cant see. so that we are always reminded of not just what you are doing but being reminded of what you have already done. Lord i want to be bold not just in the comfort of my peers but in the moments where fear creeps in. Amen
Powerful! The fear you have usually tells you what you believe about God, wow! Thank you Jackie
Come on Perrys’!!!!! Y’all showing out tuh- day! Y’all teaching & PREACHING to the people 👏🏾❤
🙌🏽🙌🏽♥️♥️Yea, they are!!! Show’n All The Way Out😊👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Here is some revelation I got from this interesting take on the topic of ‘Boldness’:
Based on what Preston said midway through the video, you mentioned the scripture God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
FALSE boldness is manifested in an individual out of fear that they don’t want people to see who they REALLY are… So what do they do? For example:
Let me call out people on their mess and call it “being real”
Let me call out false teachings and call it “being fearless”
Let me be the loudest in the room and call it “being bold”
No…the REALITY is, you’re really operating in fear and masking it with outlandishness and outspoken-ness (If that’s a word 😂)
This was a great video.
While I'm watching this video Preston's input brought Marcus Rogers to mind.
I love Preston and Jackie. They have the best relationship. You can tell that they are friends and I love it. 🙏❤
I love the way Jackie looks at Preston when he's teaching.
"Boldness is moving in the direction of fearlessness even if you have fear." -Jackie Hill Perry
"Boldness is you showing up for Jesus in a world that hates Him." -Preston Perry
“Bring God into the Fear” So much confirmation in this episode!
I Love that Preston. The inability to remember who God is causes the fear. Having confidence in whobGod is will allow us to persevere.
"Nowing that my life is in God's hand." Thank you Preston for your words. May God bless the both of y'all. ❤
“Testing is an act of revelation” FACTS. God has tested me so much in parenting…that the test revealed my pride!
I just feel like once ppl find out you love Jesus they’re ready to cancel you
Remember the eternal purpose and reward before hand and during!!
Jesus said if they hated me, they will hate you too. But we serve him anyways because we don't live for people's approval
Loved this
I liked when Preston mentioned that the Romans could tell that John and Peter were uneducated men but could discern that they had been with Jesus. Despite all of the factors they could’ve used to justify ignoring what those two had to say, “they had been with Jesus” was what was remembered. My hope is that for all of us watching this video and tuning in have the same effect on our neighbors, to the extent that they say “that person knows Jesus”.
Preston always speaks to me. Jackie your husband be saying all the things. He gives me language for many things I have been attempting o convey.
Jackie is hilarious around 15:00, Preston was so passionate too.. girl, you funny 😂
Much love from above,
Jb
Thank you 🙏🏻❤
"Will you be able to be bold for me when it costs you something?" WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTT. So good!!!!
Just speak! Gods Spirit will provide the words. When you feel that unction, pray in the moment and speak
@@sofiadelcielo thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Why do you say it’s opposed? My first major in college was sociology but I changed it before getting to upper level courses
(BTW my major was sociology too)
"At the bottom of our fears is what we really believe about God" Wow... I felt that for myself
Love them! So happy God is working through this pairing!
Believing that God is sovereign over our lives 🙌🏽
Listening from South Africa ❤🙏
You’re amazing 🥹🫶🏽🪽🌞
The way this episode just spoke to me on so many levels. I love when God reminds me that I am not alone in my thoughts. Thank you 🫶🏾☝🏾🙏🏾💡🪨✝️
Same here
All of this just blessed my whole soul! TY for obeying God and creating this podcast
Breaking down what Boldness in Jesus is helps me to stand in times when I'm afraid. For God has not given us a spirit of fear!!
This was powerful. Boldness has been an area of weakness for me, but has also been an issue I present to God. Thank you for the spiritual insight
15:21 my goodness this retelling of the Sanhedrin hit different today 🥹 Thank you!!! That was 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾 Don’t even need to apologize, brother 16:14
When i think about boldness , i think about the apostles and disciples as boldness is mentioned alot in acts. Moreover when myself or some of my sisters and brother's in Christ go out to evangelise we always ask for Boldness to be able to preach the gospel because it is often intimidating. But also to be bold to believe that Christ can move when we go out to witness
More over Paul in ephesians 6:19 requested for prayer for boldness to preach the gospel .. there is a lot to boldness.
Theres a huge difference between being Bold & being Couragous!!!! This episode was so good much love to y'all!!! 🤍😇
Thank you Perrys, I have been struggling with confidence since I was like 12, now I'm 27. This really helps
