Hi Alexa! I'm the one who sent you the pink tights, and I can confirm they're actually floral patterned. Sorry for the pic quality, my phone is a bit old... Thank you for your take, now I feel I can finally style them with something!
I sent in the pink fur trim cape it does have a clasp sorry I should’ve specified!!Thanks so much honestly love every single way you’ve styled it I love girly things especially skirts I’m so happy with the outcome CANT wait to now try and style the cape in these ways 😊
💗That pink cape is so fabulously feminine🌸. 🤔Think it could be even MORE ✨️outstanding✨️ w/a body-con long sleeved ribbed midi knit dress. Black, gray, white, or maybe burgandy would be MOST ⚡️dramatic〰️but it could also work w/a vanilla, light almond, or griege too. A simple retro sheath dress w/a boat neck, crew neck, or mock neck would allow the cape to be 💫 star. You could wear an LWD & white sneakers on a Spring day. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
@@teresacarle294 This is brilliant!! I love these ideas and most definitely will be trying these out I’m interested to see where red and pink can go defying fashion laws which I love 🤩 thanks so much 😊😊
Hi, Alexa! I sent you the brown skirt that is too short on me. I didn't think about the possibility of leggings at all, so thank you for that. Also, thank you for the depop recommendations, I already bought the heart necklace that I fell in love with and I'm checking with another seller about the baby doll tops, that are a great idea.
Ah I sent in the dog dress (SUCH a good thrift find. I’ll never be over it) and now I absolutely need to find a Peter Pan collar shirt I can’t get that image out of my head of how cute that would be!!! Thank you so much for the inspo! I love these styling you videos so much, you always have such great styling ideas!
I love the pastel cape. My mind went to a black leather mini skirt with pink polka dot tights and a baby tee or to dress it way down, denim overall shorts, again with the pink polka dot tights. Paired with heeled combat boots.
i love the first denim skirt piece! i love the way you styled it and i think i personally would style it with red cowboy boots and a waistcoat with some fun accessories or maybe a white blouse and leather blazer as an optional layer
23:09 PLEASE PUT A SLEEVELESS DRESS ON TOP! It would look so ethereal, or a wide maxi skirt. Lean into the angel vibes it would look amazing. I want that top now
Your denim skirt is suuuper beautiful I have never seen one with so many tiers and so full and flowy... if it isn't like too much of a hassle could you tell me the brand? I already tried to Google images search it but I couldn't find it and it is exactly what I have been looking for in a denim skirt.
For the black miniskirt, I think it would look so cute with colored leggings and a fun top that's the same color :D especially if the leggings are patterned (ex; black and pink lepaord print leggings and a pink top that's the same shade. Evenly spreads the black and the pink across the outfit)
I would do the pink cape with a fitted long-sleeve in brown or matching pink top, with more fitted denim pants (at least through the hips, a bit of a flair at the bottom would also be cute) and boots to make the cape the focus. Think Southern Fall Woman style but more preppy/pastel.
A note and suggestion about the short skirt: if a skirt is that short, it’s an indication that (1) it’s being worn too high up on your hair waist - a skirt wouldn’t be designed to have a bottom-bearing length, which tells you that there’s a fit problem, meaning … (2) it’s very likely too small for you - the waist measurement of the skirt isn’t fitting you lower on the waist (as intended) and so the skirt is pulled up to fit a more narrow part of your torso. Also, it probably looks a bit odd to be wearing a skirt that is too short, regardless of pants or tights worn underneath, as everyone knows that skirts are meant to fall below your bottom. Then it’s kind of an extremely wide belt .. haha. That said, I suggest that you take it to an alteration shop to see if the seams have enough fabric for them to widen the size to where it can fit lower on your waist, and then cover your bottom - as it should. If it were to fit properly and be worn as a normal bottom-covering skirt, you’d have lots of ways to style it…instead of having a few very specific ways to wear it, trying to make a very wide belt-ish item (not really) work. Alter it or skip wearing a clearly too short skirt.
i’ve said it before and i’ll say again that these are some of my favorite videos you make!! they are just so creative and cute and interactive with your community! i know it takes a lot of time and effort to make, only makes it an even sweeter treat when you upload another one of these :)
Sounds like a lot of these dilemmas have given a lot of inspiration, and we’ll be seeing pieces like these being thrifted this year. They would look great too.
I'm absolutely in love with these video concept! Your styling is always so on point and I love your ideas for all the pieces! I kinda though of an idea for a similar type video. I downloaded the Open Wardrobe app because of you and I'm loving it so far! How about subscribers sending you their digital closets through the app and you styling outfits with their clothes? I think it could be a really fun idea, as long as people are willing to participate.
Oh my goodness I swear I had the first skirt when I was in high school! I loved it. My go-to styling, knowing nothing about styling at the time, was a lilac colored short sleeved knit sweater twofer set that had a matching tank top built in.
I loved all of these outfits! And it feels like your styling abilities improved since the last video! I would love for the upcoming ones if you got help from Katie, Danielle or Laini!
I would've cut the white boho/Renaissance top to make it a crop - it would pair so well with a maxi skirt and something knit or crochet, or would pair it with a pencil skirt (my fabourite clothing item! 😅)
Amazing suggestions as always! In love with your sheep sweater 😩 I'm thinking about taking pictures of all my clothing to make it easier to style new outfits, but it's such a huge task! What is your go to way to find a new outfit within your wardrobe? Looking for new styling inspiration for the new year while only working within my own closet😁
Apps like A closet or another one that Alexa tried in a video (sorry can't remember the name) are great for that. I personally use Acloset. It does take time to upload your clothes, I did mine on a school break, but just take like 10-20 everyday or a couple hrs on the weekend, you'll be done before you know it, and it's totally worth it!
A closet is the best and it only took me a few hours. It’s so invaluable because it shows me how often I’ve worn an item, the cost per wear, it categorizes into so many things and has an Ai feature to create outfit ideas with your own clothes. They aren’t all great but a few ideas I’ve used. And it’s so great to have a closet when going thrifting. You can see what you have to know if things are too similar or will go with what you already have
@hadassahBespokejaimison Open wardrobe is the app that Alexa suggested. I used it and I love it! It sounds very similar to the app you recommended. I don't think you can go wrong with either app, but I also found it extremely helpful. 😊

I prefer to know the pronoms of someone so I can help them feel respected when I communicate with them. I feel it is the same as learning to use Dr when I speak about a doctor. I have been asked if I am using Miss or Madame all my life as if it is really important to know my marital statut when I go to the bank, the doctor or when I have to sign any kind of documents. Why is it so complicated to leard pronoms to respect someone when we already use them in any others situation were we talk with someone new?

Alexa, just fyi, I accidentally sent you a weird half of a message on instagram and I'm sorry! I tried to unsend it but I can't, and I can't send you more messages on insta to apologise/explain. Basically, I started writing you a message about my own styling dilemma but then decided it's stupid to do so, since your requests are currently closed. I tried to delete it, erased most of it but before I could erase the entire thing, I accidentally hit send 😭
Reading the feedbacks of the girls you helped, I would love an episode where we can see how the dilemmas are finally styled ! 👀
That would be awesome! Hopefully there's been enough videos of these by now that there would be enough people styled who would respond.

For the pink cape to tone it down you could go for an après ski look and wear like flare leggings and a black turtle neck with some winter boots
