Context, I wrote the lyrics after going to Baraboo Wisconsin, then coming home to the Vietnam Vets coming off the platform at the train station only to be spit on and screamed at, the oil embargo was hitting full stride and Watergate was breaking. I've listened to several of the popular "commentary" songs and even with stiff competition from Jason Aldean and Oliver Anthony, I'd have to say this is my favorite so far. I love the catchy, highly singable tune along with the creative imagery. Great job!

Just to be clear...I do like the song. The beat/music is so catchy (which is what made me search this full song not just a clip) and the lyrics are very clever. However, I just hope he is not just copying what Oliver Anthony did in hopes of making it big and turn into some kind of sellout. I fully support both artists and the messages they're putting out there. We need more people like that who don't care who they piss off for speaking the truth. We have the power, we all just need to come together and stand strong regardless of different views. Just like the song stated, Elephants and Donkeys got us jumping through hoops. It's time the tables turn as it should be. They work for us, not the other way around. Again, no hate intended! Just don't wanna see such talent wasted by the corrupt giants.
