Sounds like the ultimate goal for a older man and/or father. My grandfather worked in New York City at Young and Rubicam commercials for 40 years acquired a good amount of financial savings and since hes been at home retired since 2001 at the age of 55. he doesn't like to take airplanes he doesn't like to even take local vacations, he just sits at home and watches old movies doesn't even make an effort to get into his car and come visit once in awhile and only expects me to visit him when he knows I have extremely limited transportation options, and my grandmother I know deep down wishes that they had more of an exciting "golden years". Cheers to you, be safe and happy.
@@raymondelsayed4445 thanks dude, I will be 55 at the end of September, I'm hoping to take semi retirement which will allow me to spend the winter in Malaysia then I will return to England, do some agency work for a few months, then when the weather starts turning to shit again just go back to Malaysia (or even Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea). Unlike your grandfather I LOVE flying and am forever looking at the latest deals, sadly this pandemic has meant I've been unable to go anywhere since returning from Malaysia but my time will come, I'm sure of it.

One of the most affordable cities to buy apartment. Apartments on really good location in new buildings with swimming pool, gym, security will cost you 2000-2500 euros per sqm at most. Little further from city center (5-6 km from downtown) price in similar building will be around 1500 euros per sqm

If you're going to Malaysia in general I'd say 10 days in KL are too much time for tourism. Besides Chinatown and the Batu Caves in KL you can experience more of Malaysia in such time. I would split it equally between Penang, Melaka and KL. In fact in 2019 I spent: Penang 2 nights (love it and was there a few times before), KL 4 nights and Malacca 3 nights on my way to Singapore coming from Thailand. You can find more Malaysia walks here: th-cam.com/play/PLaxUrZNxL7WLI8HAXxCyeMTccdjmopvAh.html to see how it's like. All places were well connected by bus. Inside KL you usually get around by taxi or MRT as the districts are often too far apart in the humid climate to true enjoy walking around. As Georgetown/Penang is North of KL you may also fly into KL and go Malacca -> Singapore if you haven't been. Singapore is also worth seeing for 3 days or so: th-cam.com/play/PLaxUrZNxL7WKJP8bltbdtb3WmblFsoG0U.html
