My first trip across the Atlantic was to Lisbon. A marvelous city and one I desperately want to return to. The people were lovely, the food was amazing, the city was beautiful. I felt instantly at home. Great to see it again from a pedestrian's view.

Thank you Brigitte! I'm glad you liked it. The Castle up there has some great views though I didn't get in there this time. Lisbon is a nice city to walk around and there are some more walks coming taking different directions to viewpoints.

@@siqueira797 Os turistas gostam de visitar a Europa! não é interessante para ninguém visitar as Américas! mesmo os EUA que recebem mais turistas das três Américas! recebem menos turistas que a França que é do tamanho de um estado americano! e você não pode falar que no Brasil as pessoas não prestam, isso é falta de educação

Visited Lisbon recently. Certainly a lovely city. Have nothing but good things to say about it, except for the cab driver who ripped me off from the airport.
@@lisboaantiga260 Actually, my grand mother was 100% Portuguese. However, I am not a citizen of the country. I have no idea if the cab driver was Portuguese, but I did read that frequently the cab drivers at the airport prey on tourists. The agent at the hotel said it is well known of their activities. I did not have problems with any of the cab drivers while getting around the city.

Vejam as Fronteiras em Angola, Moçambique, Brasil etc, os Portugueses foram muito competentes nas suas Fronteiras, nos fortes que construíram para defesa do território e na administração!
