Thanks for the tip you really made it that much more fun, I had to do the resistors on the harness or the turning signal would not work on amber and hyper flash and also mines came with the outer light house wire extension and that really help.

Installed mine two weeks ago and they’re perfect. No issues so far and they look great with my vland sequential headlights. People look at my car trying to figure out what model it is lol

@@DanielReyes-fu6nq they just didn’t bro. Maybe it’s because I bought a later version of the lights and by this time they already fixed this problem. Mine never hyperflashed.

Just joined the HC motionz tail light party! Great video!!! Mine did not have a button to change modes. No hyper flash.
Installed mine yesterday just have to order the weather stripping! So far happy I got smoked and they are little dark more like dark tinted but other than that happy!
Reverse lights could be brighter though! I’m used to my stock housing with upgraded led reverse bulbs I had. But not too bad.
Also mine shipped same day from Amazon all the way to my military address in Germany! Came in about 6 days wild. Haha

Vland and HC Motion tail lights are around $250? But the light bars-sequential sets, are selling for $650. So the $400 price is for that bar?

I don’t like the DRL because it might throw off drivers thinking your breaking also these got that thick top part of the lights just like the Vlands

Under the steering column on push start side. Kind of a tight reach. I think it's green box.

One question tho, does the speed of sequential turn light match the Vlands turn light or is it different speed so it gets mismatched after a while?
As the headlights? IDK. Can’t tell since front and back. Plus way sequential works is the pulse triggers the motion and how ever long it takes, it takes.
@@TunerwithKids yeah, I just thought if the sequence speed is noticeably different. Like if you have turning light on and take a couple steps back. But I guess it's not a problem. Anyway, thanks for the video and thanks for the replies. 👍🏻

I think these look better. The camera auto exposure makes the colors more bright. These are pretty bright in person. The brake lights also go across trunk and quarter panel lights. OEM brakes are only quarter lights, trunk is reverse and parking only.

Also for the rubber seal you don’t wrap it all the way around the taillights just partial so water can drip down correct?
You really don’t need relay since there are resistors built in but some cars act up and need more resistance. I already had a relay so mine work fine.

They look better than I expected. Do they make a clear or smoked clear version?
They have the clear with black version. Not my style but they are out there. The checks are red and others are clear/black.

I have 2006 250. I run stock hids.
Depending on year, some may not see enough load on yhe turn signals to not hyperflash. The lights come with extra resistors incase.

I purchased these lights for my IS since i'm not handy so i paid a guy to install them for me and he wired it wrong. The amber turn signal doesn't work it and the lights blink extremely fast. He keeps telling me thats how these lights work. I'm going to give it shot and redo the lights myself.

Some people see condensation after car wash or rain. Not inside but right on that edge since there isn’t a gasket.
The Vland headlights are worth it to replacement oem with AFS ? Mine are quite old and yellow. But they have new xenon's
Yea is you have old 2006-2010 style. Those are outdated looking.

What’s up Binh. I just got picked up some HC Motionz for my 350. I didn’t use a weather strip, will that be a issue in the future? Also, in the package it came with some extra yellow wires. What are those for?
Extra wires are to connect the trunk to the outer lights for sequential signals and brake light on trunk (OEM don’t have trunk brakes).

I like the HC Motion since the brake goes across to trunk lid too. The sequential signals also make it modern.
What kind of rear bumper lip do you have? I was going through your videos but I couldn’t find it.

My right blinker is super fast but normal speed when turned on hazard lights. Do you have this issue?
Resistor for tail light is bad. Or need to add extra resistors they included with them.
How to remove a clip from trunk hinges. Do I need to press on it ? Or its disposable so I just break it and install new one ?
It pops off with a panel/clip remover tool. There is also a slide in tab on one end, I think.
In the product description for the ones you linked to Amazon (sold by inginuity time) it says, "Reverse Light Only On Passeger Side (White Light). Fog Light Only on Driver Side (Red Light)." What does this mean? Thanks!
For Europe or Japan they require a rear “fog light”. So those cars are wired so that the fog light illuminates that combo. USDM doesn’t have this so it operates normally.
@@TunerwithKids Update! I received my tail lights via Amazon from the link you provided on Tuesday (only took 4 days to get to me) and got around to installing them today. Everything is perfect except that my delay headlights won't shutoff after the 30 seconds, they will just stay on indefinitely. Any suggestions?

You can always use the P/N and buy at local Toyota dealer.
Binh would one side hyperflash only? My left headlight is now hyper flashing but not the right. Does my. Turn signal just need to be replaced? Worked fine before the install.
Resistance probably isn’t high enough. Add one of the resistors in the kit to stop it.
Will that fix the brake light to fully. Illuminate? One side brake light isn't working.
You should check the jumper plug. They might have the wires swapped on the plug.

Most complaints are after car wash, water pools on top outside the housing and condensation near the edges.

There is some local via toyotapartsdirect but I’m going to call Toyota tomorrow like I said to see if I can cut out the shipping costs there’s a few Toyota dealerships in town
Does your tail lights and DRL work when turn the switch in auto? Mine does not work after I installed the tail lights.
Everything works as it should. I know a few people had an issue where the connector wire between trunk and outside was swapped. Also on IS-F, people reported needing the resistors for the brake lights due to check system warnings.

So im experiencing hyperflashing. Initially everything was running great but after 2nd drive around i noticed turn signals hyperflashing. And the tail lights turn signals not working. As well as the brake lights on the trunk lights. Does that mean i should put the resistors provided? What would be the best solution the resistors or get a relay like you explained. Considering my headlights are LED as well from DEPOT.
Relay is best. But check the wiring for trunk lights. Some of them came with wires swapped.

Very cool besides the animation function they look flat in my opinion. I will wait till v-land comes out with that function.
Yea it’s a more simple design. One thing you gain though, is brake light function on the trunk lid side too. OEM only has brakes on outside lights. Trunk is parking and reverse only.

If you want to avoid condensation near the top after car wash or rain. It doesn’t get inside but it does have a small gap where others had small condensation outside the housing.

It’s random on which may need and not need it. Gotta install and see how car reacts. They include several resistor sizes in case.

Not foglight ..its a running light..that lingo makes no sense .when using fog lights its a running or parking light .. weather u hit one click on the light switch or when u drop eye brake activates running or drl lights or like my forester I have a separate switch for my parking lights..fog lights are at the bottom front of bumper..
iirc across the pond vehicles require rear fogs which most cars accommodate into the taillights
In Europe and Japan, it’s a rear fog light. Americans assume fog light is just for seeing in front but people want to make sure you don’t rear end them. I know my lighting terminology.
@@TunerwithKids if I were to take japan lights or euro lights and put on usdm car of course some need to probably need wire modifying but regardless they function same as a usdm light..ya just choose your terminology calling it a fog light instead of a running light or parking light. It's still same..

Dude in other countries there is a requirement for rear fog light. It’s usually one side that has a spot that illuminates via a switch on dash or stalk. As other commentator confirmed. It’s NOT the parking light or the brake light. It’s a rear fog light.

Nah....I prefer the vlands. Much more cleaner elegant look for a luxury sedan.
