I changed out all our hinges and door handles to matte black several summers ago. So many! Wow, what a huge difference that small change made. I did it myself to save money. I TH-camd how to do door handles. It was SO easy, even the locking ones. Enjoy the change!

My husband did not specify the color of the hinges when he ordered new patio doors and they came in Black. The doors and other metals in the room are Brushed nickel toned. I bought some Rub n Buff and changed the color with no problem! They've held up great and it didn't require a whole new refit!

Have never lived in this small of a space and do not how to do it. I going to look for tiny home you tubes to see suggestions on storage etc. I would imagine you would say be a minimalist in what is in the space. White and light colors. FYI - noticed the door stops drilled in your bottom trim work. When I changed out my brass hinges to black Matt I got a door stop that fits on the top hinge of the door. Just add them to the barrel when replacing the hinge. No more door stops sticking out to trip someone or mark up your trim work. Love your channel and your causal style of sharing your expertise. Tried to include a pic of the hinge doorstop but couldn’t get it in msg.

Have to get peaches every time I visit my Aunt in Macon this time of year. My late Mama loved going to Dickey Farms for peach ice cream so we made a visit in her honor when I went down last month. 💕
