For me, this level was particularly difficult because I didn't know how the air ballons worked at first. I just jumped from them and used Dixie to fly almost the entire level and when she died I tried to reach for the next part of land with Diddy, while he was still jumping. Don't know how I managed to do that, honestly. But it is possible!

Como esse jogo conseguiu reunir tanta OST memorável assim, praticamente TODAS são únicas e inesquecíveis, já se passaram dezenas de anos e a gente num simples toque, consegue lembrar e associar rápido a quem pertence... Os games de hoje são fraquíssimos em questão de musicabilidade.

Instant time machine back to Christmas of 1995 when I got this as a 13 year old. Staying up late on break from school navigating yet another Donkey Kong game with not a care in the world. Those 1st two games were so great. Music and memories of my childhood. Miss those days.
It's really interesting and amazing how different these versions sound compared to the actual music in the game (which is not a bad thing at all). Some parts of the tracks are simply amazing on the restored versions but other parts, at least to me, do sound better on the SNES versions but considering that i grew up with DKC2 and i played it dozens of times over the last two decades i'm pretty biased in my opinion. Keep up the amazing work :)

I would put my new born babies in a bouncer seat by the tv and play this. They started playing young and beat THESE levels pretty good. They loved the music also.
I always thought the highlights of the track were its ambient sounds and percussion and not the bass. They're not terribly quiet here and sound pretty acceptable to me I think.

I only realized recently that those steam vents actually lift the balloon, lol made the the levels so much easier to complete.
