I would have had Zemo in there to warn them against going with Val. He could also go against Ross taking the radiation to become Red Hulk. Basically he's there to help them by not physically helping them. I just think he's such an essential part of Thunderbolts in the comics, and while he doesn't need to be in the action of this movie, he does need to be in it somewhere, ideologically fighting against super soldiers and test subjects. Speaking of Red Hulk, there needs to be something with him and Sentry if Ross is Sentry's creator. That should be a very hard hitting and violent part of the story. I think they need to do Red Hulk because, 1. Harrison is pretty old, and I don't want to go through a bunch of other old men until we finally see Red Hulk. 2. It'd fit in with a story about the super soldiers and themes of monsters being made out of tests. 3. We don't have an actually physically imposing Hulk at the moment since they went the Smart Hulk route with Banner. So it'd be nice to see some Hulk smashing, especially with some actual menace. Overall, I like that you took a smaller scale approach. My main issue with the team they announced is how they don't really vary in power. Ghost is the only one with an actual power other than enhanced strength and combat. What about Radioactive Man? Atlas? Screaming Mimi? There's a lot of obscure but unique Marvel characters that could add color into this line up. Cool video, I hope you do more of these pitches.
I don’t want to sound like a nerd. But Several media outlets have claimed that the team was originally formed by General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, hence the same name, but the name is actually a complete coincidence; Ross had been around for decades before the Thunderbolts and was not connected to their inception in any way (He did eventually join the team as Red Hulk a couple more decades later). This misconception also plays into another one, that the team started life as a team of government-sanctioned villains like the Suicide Squad, which may have come true later, but to start with, does not accurately describe Zemo’s team of hidden villains posing as heroes at all.
I don’t really understand your version of John, he is nothing like you describe. He isn’t a government loyalist, he only tries to do what he think is right, and he isn’t a cold blooded killer because the only person he killed, had 5 minutes ago helped kill his best friend infront of him and he had a serum that inhances emotions, finally even if you disagree with me on his characterization during the show at the end he works to save lives over getting vengeance. Also with the lineup you have, I don’t think Sentry works for the villain, that’s like having a suicide squad movie with Peacemaker, Killer Croc, Kingshark, and Polkadot Man fight General Zod
I like this pitch quite well. If Val had more of an arc, it would be stronger. I'm going to suggest a subplot with Everett Ross or Sharon Carter (possibly Nick Fury) where it's clear Val is jockeying for position to be the alpha spy. Recruiting people with powers and using these people to conduct missions is part of increasing her cred and setting the stage to taking out her rivals.
It seems like one has to have one scene (perhaps post credits) that explains the name the Thunderbolts. This could be as campy as Val saying, "The President decided to call this project the 'Thunderbolts'. Never underestimate the ego of a man who goes from being a general to being a politician." But it could be more like... President Ross having a discussion with John Walker about how Ross is only working through Val until he can cut her out. And the plan is to make JW the team leader, but for now he should accept Yelena Belova being team leader. Ross could explain that the psych profile done on Alexei Shostakov showed he was unreliable but the most likely way to keep him in the fold was to have Yelena lead the mission. This has the benefit of giving JW a motive to kill Red Guardian.
Phase 4 if marvel were smart 1. Wandavision 2021 I would make several changes to this show, for one making Wanda an actual villain and no dumb dialogue defending her. Fantastic four 2021 We would get an origin for the fantastic four in this movie, however instead of
In my theory what's going to happen in this film would be government corruption starting after Secret Invasion as plot device throughout the film and with Void still being the main villain.Val wants to use Sentry as weapon to illegally invade countries like Wakanda or possibly newly Asgard in similar way to what Norman Osborn did in comics during Siege. The team is created more special operatives where they are set to contain Sentry but along the way they are met by their worst fears, The Void. At the Raft Zemo hears what's really going down with Val and her sinister Cabal are planning to pull strings and create hit list. Baron Zemo decides to bring in the "REAL" Thunderbolts whilst Val decides to create her own version of the "Dark Avengers" with U.S.Agent as their leader.

Zemo would be saved for the sequel and in the original draft of this video, I had the Red Hulk post credits tease. Ross and Val would be walking through the destroyed lab and he’d find a red vial of serum synthesized from Sentry’s blood
In my version of The Thunderbolts the team would consist of Yelena, Us Agent (John Walker), War Machine, Abomination, Ghost, Red Guardian. Sentry would be the main villain of this movie. for sure! i’d love to see him make a return in something like Captain America 4 or 5 and the Avengers movies. I just don’t think thunderbolts is quite the right place for him
Thunderbolts are a team originated by General Thunderbolts Ross. Yes, he lead an incarnation of the Thunderbolts, but he was never one of the original members of the band.
Bro your movie is actually pretty good but i think Thunderbolt Ross should have a more important role here considering how this movie is set right after Captain America 4
Yeah Thunderbolts so weird. What i heard and read a bit, them being Marvel suicide squad is around when Warren Ellis took over and people copy his run. But yeah is mostly villain ( except maybe that weird 2022 run) To be honest is look crap. The movie look like meh ish, thing.
There’s too many super soldiers on the team… literally everyone on the team does the same thing. Now I can see bucky joining at first until he realizes that he doesn’t want to be part of a team that kills because he’ll realize that he’s going back to his winter soldier self.
@@grudgematch6653 maybe. i just don’t know narratively why bucky would join. i don’t think it would add to the movie thematically in any way and it may just feel like filler. i think you might be able to get it to work though with Val’s misleading info
The red guardian v us agent beef and final fight kinda gives me too much of a Suicide Squad vibe between Peacemaker and Flag but other than that there's definitely some bits here that I would be interested in seeing!
Not even two minutes in and I agree that the MCU version of Taskmaster just isn't that interesting. She lacks much agency and her motivation is pretty... meh. And, I agree, it seems forced to have Bucky Barnes blackslide to being a thug taking orders. Among other problems, it seems like Wakanda would come after him and capture him.
I’m a little confused at your claims that John isn’t comfortable taking orders from women, when he’s literally working FOR Val, who is a woman? I presume you think that way because of the Dora Milaje fight but that had nothing to do with them being women and just them not having jurisdiction. A lot of this John part of the story just doesn’t fit the character that exists in the canon and effectively retcons his arc from Falcon and Winter Soldier. And killing him off when the character has so much more potential to have a complex and interesting storyline is just premature. This just makes him into some one note villain to be written out and killed off when he’s never been that. It’s a waste of the character and an actor the caliber of Wyatt Russell. Like I don’t understand this sentiment of looking at John like a bad guy but Yelena is the more heroic one when she’s the one who literally and casually kills numerous people just so she and Nat could break Alexei out of jail. Your pitch really feels like we are rehashing the Suicide Squad. But even in that story universe, James Gunn gave more humanity to Peacemaker in later stories than you seem to think of John. You talk a lot about some of these characters being victims but also fail to realize that John himself is a victim of the government and the military industrial complex as well? Maybe we don’t need the Thunderbolts to rehash the Suicide Squad, maybe a team filled with traumatized soldier/spy types isn’t a coincidence and they could find a team/family with each other so they can grow and be better. Maybe Bucky of all people would know how to lead a group of broken people to find healing. Maybe instead of following The Suicide Squad, they follow the Guardians route of a found family instead. Instead of a story filled with just violence, we can have one where the broken messed up misfits can heal each other and save the world. Maybe each character can grow and learn something significant for their character. Also, there’s very easy ways to fix Taskmaster, just let her have a personality. It would be all too easy to just show her now having had time finding herself be a different person than the brainwashed one we met in Black Widow. I mean if they could fix Deadpool by just having him be the personality he should have, then I see no reason Taskmaster can’t be fixed, especially when the fix would be very easy and Marvel left that route very open.
I do like your ideas, for sure. When I think Thunderbolts, I think of a violent group of anti-heroes and villains. And with John not taking order from women, while he is taking orders from Val, I think we can add an extra layer is dislikability to him with some undertones of sexism. Throughout the movie, we can see him getting more and more upset with Val and only taking orders from Val because of his loyalty to the government, not her specifically
@@fakehappyfilmsI guess my question would be why do we need an extra layer of dislike for John when he’s already hated, sometimes unfairly so? Especially when his arc in Falcon and Winter Soldier had him making the right choices and being heroic in the end. This turn at making him villainous seems to ignore what happens at the end of the show and it doesn’t address John’s own conflicts with how his government screwed him over by taking away his military rank and VA benefits. It just feels like a very flat take on the character that doesn’t really give him an interesting arc or struggle beyond being bad, which even the Falcon and Winter Soldier doesn’t see him as that, as the showrunner even stated that John and Bucky are two sides of the same coin of soldiers abandoned by their government. Feels like a missed opportunity.
Alright,so this is character assassination of John Walker. Most of the ideas That you presented are pretty bad with the exception of the John walker vs Alexei fights. You complain that there are to many Super soldiers and proceeds to only eliminate Bucky out of the pitch. Here are some good ideas that should be used for the movie: 1)The Old Roster:Of the characters presented, eliminate Red Guardian and Ghost.Val is the one in charge of the Thunderbolts program,so she stays. She also already recruited both John and Yelena.Bucky didn't do much in Falcon and the winter soldier,so he can be in this movie. He was also an American soldier before being an brainwashed assassin.Taskmaster can be in the movie, but as an antagonist; 2)the nw roster:With the changes to the old rooster there need to be new ones to replace them. Those in my opinion are:a)Tiger Shark, who in the movie can be a halfbreed betewn an Talokan soldier and a human,He looks mostly human, but has gills on his neck and sharp theeth that can grow back in days after being broken. He's the youngest member of the team and a big fan of Walker. His name is Carlos Diaz. b)Appala, also know as Anne Sol(I just made up the name,in the comics she doesn't have one) is a french woman with solar powers, able to shoot sun blasts and create and control heat .her mother is a friend of Val,and told her about Anne.Val yold Anne about the Thunderbolts program and she accepted. C) character dinamics:John and Yelena butt heads, but is more friendly banter than antagoniseing eachother.John is awkward towars Carlos, because he reminds him to much of Battlestar,Anne is not a fan of Yelena, because Yelena's the black widow who killed her father.Yelena feels guilt, because while she was brainwashed, she still remembers every second of it.Bucky feels sympathy for Yelena, while he's worried for Walker, because even if he seems put together,he's still broken and violent. D)the villains are an organization called Maggia.Who is not a secret terorist organization(like AIM or the new Red Room)but is secretly powerfull, because they created a supersoldier as powerfull as Thor(That would be Sentry by the way) under the alias of project SENTRY. Known agents of the Maggia: Jason Dean( a gunslinger using modified Chitauri guns), Simon Marshall(the leader of the drug division)and Giulietta Nefaria(mistress of disguise and assassin).Another person they'll encounter is Taskmaster who's in it for the money and housing that Maggia offers her. E) the mission:Val gives the team the mission of breaking in a Maggia base in Finland and finding out more about project SENTRY And those are my ideas for now.
i love how you tell me my ideas are bad, then proceed to say yours are good (which is subjective to your opinion AND your bias being that you’re the one who came up with those). thanks for the comment. helps more people see my bad ideas in the algorithm

I'd like to add however that im so over Hollywood using telekinesis as the go to special effect for all known power set. From Storm's winds, to Magneto's magnetism to Jean's telekinesis, the all just look the same on screen. I really hope they find different ways to make their powers look, like giving Magneto polarity waves around him when he flies, Giving Storm small gusts of winds around her when he flies and giving Jean some form of psionic aura around her. Woah! That would be really sick. It would explain why they were so shady after the Battle of NY
Brilliant!
Bro your movie is actually pretty good but i think Thunderbolt Ross should have a more important role here considering how this movie is set right after Captain America 4
i agree. at the time of release, i don’t think thunderbolts was after cap 4, but i could be wrong. the slate has moved around so much 😂
Wheres the post credits scene
Ended up cutting it. I don’t like pitching post credit scenes because then that leads into other movies. Id rather just pitc one specific pne
8:14 I think Ghost would beat him up
people gotta put more respect on ghost’s name!
Yeah Thunderbolts so weird. What i heard and read a bit, them being Marvel suicide squad is around when Warren Ellis took over and people copy his run.
But yeah is mostly villain ( except maybe that weird 2022 run)
To be honest is look crap. The movie look like meh ish, thing.
yeah i’ve done some more research since this video and i prefer when they’re more of an under the table covert stealth ops team
and you forget sentry songbird and thunderbolt ross in the movie
I think you troyoboyo and nando movies should write avengers 5 and secret wars
i think i love you
There’s too many super soldiers on the team… literally everyone on the team does the same thing. Now I can see bucky joining at first until he realizes that he doesn’t want to be part of a team that kills because he’ll realize that he’s going back to his winter soldier self.
at that point, why have bucky in the movie at all though? and yeah, i agree. way too many super soldiers for sure
@@fakehappyfilms I am glad you asked!😁 maybe Val gives him misleading information or just doesn’t tell him the part where they kill. Not sure🤔
Thanks for watching bro
and ngl buck my being on the team makes sense
or silver sufer one 🙏🙏
Red Guardian: US agent... what a joke
The Thunderbolts Squad
Here are some good ideas that should be used for the movie:
1)The Old Roster:Of the characters presented, eliminate Red Guardian and Ghost.Val is the one in charge of the Thunderbolts program,so she stays.She also already recruited both John and Yelena.Bucky didn't do much in Falcon and the winter soldier,so he can be in this movie.He was also an American soldier before being an brainwashed assassin.Taskmaster can be in the movie,but as an antagonist;
2)the nw roster:With the changes to the old rooster there need to be new ones to replace them.
E) the mission:Val gives the team the mission of breaking in a Maggia base in Finland and finding out more about project SENTRY
And those are my ideas for now.
i love how you tell me my ideas are bad, then proceed to say yours are good (which is subjective to your opinion AND your bias being that you’re the one who came up with those). thanks for the comment. helps more people see my bad ideas in the algorithm
@@fakehappyfilms Explain to me how your ideas are good then,if it's only subjective. Also explain how mine are bad then? Because I wanna know your reasoning.
Killmonger would be perfect
if he was alive, that would be cool
@@fakehappyfilms like revive and "brainwash" bruh
do a x men pls
Buddy, you read my mind
Yes definitely need to do an Xmen
@@robertbrown3830 But what iteration of the Xmen team? Personally i prefer the Jim Lee team of the 90s but they had too many members which were cut down for the 90s animated show. But i also like the two original teams of the 60s. Maybe an amalgam of the two versions
@@markcruz359 yea good point the 90's team would be fine. To me the 90's blue and gold teams have what the MCU Avengers is trying to get, different interesting characters. That said my personal team would be Cyclops. Jean. Wolverine. Storm. Rogue. Colossus. Nightcrawler and either Kitty, Gambit, Psylocke, Emma Frost or Bishop
@@robertbrown3830 You're forgetting Iceman, Beast and Angel. Not sure Emma should immediately be a member of the Xmen like what they did to Mystique. What do you think of Jubilee? I remember watching the 90s animated cartoon thinking her powers were weird and dont remember that ever being a storyline from the comics.
Another thing i'd like to point out is their over saturation of unknown background mutants in the past movies. The comics have a wide array of mutants that they can populate the school with, like Dust, Armour, Greymalkin, Synch, Monet etc.
Well when it comes to Bucky i guess he can be the compass that noone listens too LOL. Or the govt could use his past again agaisnt him. So yea.
I could see that happening, but then I just wonder why have him in the first place if the others render him useless?
Hi
Hi 👋
Nando v movies rip off
correct
There’s too many super soldiers on the team… literally everyone on the team does the same thing. Now I can see bucky joining at first until he realizes that he doesn’t want to be part of a team that kills because he’ll realize that he’s going back to his winter soldier self.
i agree. a better lineup could definitely work. maybe they're using super soldiers because they're gonna turn it into some kinda black ops team?
