For the QOTD, I can tell you, without a doubt, that my favourite starter is POPPLIO! Alola is my favourite region and I love the adorable water seal! I also adore the rest of its evolution line too. Primarina is a beautiful Pokémon with a quite nice cry I also like it because so many people used to hate it! I don’t know how many people dislike it now but my love for it will never fade

My favorite is Samarott (Oshawott's final evolution), I first played generation 5 and it was my first starter. It was insanely powerful ( I think I got a good nature from it) and I barely lost any battles with him. His design is awesome and I've always loved samurai. I hope the new legends arceus redesign him close to what Mikey had in his review video, because that design was fantastic and would love to see it.

My favorite is gonna have to be Grooky. It’s not just because it’s Monke, it’s actually pretty decent when it evolves into Rillaboom, paired with great coverage with moves like High Horsepower, Brick Break, Darkest Lariat, and surprisingly Solar Blade. All of this makes it pretty formidable, especially with its high base attack of 125.
For the QOFT: Torchic! It was the first pokemon i've ever owned, ever (I played Sapphire alpha) and i fell in love with it's design and it's stats. Now, whenever i can get one, i do! It's just really meaningful to me.

Unpopular opinion but Chikorita is my favorite starter! Soul Silver was my first game and I picked Chikorita. I spent so much time with that game and got really attached to all my pokemon, but there was something about watching that little green bean grow into a flower as it followed me everywhere which cemented it in first.
QOTD mine is a tie between turtwig squirtle because I always choose squirtle in pokemon quest and I love blue but for turtwig it's the same thing for mikey and castform I feel like ash's torterra is very underrated and believe it only shows how strong the opponent is instead of showning how weak he is
