Love the Meinl dual crashes which he’s using as his left crash in this video but they just aren’t suited for louder styles of music. It’s just too dry It sounds like a cracked cymbal of some kind. The traditional crash on his right side sounds absolutely amazing though.
It’s also the furthest cymbal from the camera which I assume is where the mic for the drum audio is being picked up which explains the difference in volume and why only that trashy sound is being picked up.
@@carlosbarrantes6571 tasteless, sounds like every other generic metalcore band. Vocals have always been lackluster. Literally the best albums are the ones luke is drumming on and he still couldnt save them.

Super dry stuff generally work well for this style. Sounds almost like an effects cymbal here.
