Love what you've done so far. It will be interesting to determine if the exhaust has actually made a difference in power. Of course, you'd have to know what it is before you made the change. Overall, really like all your mods and I am now a new subscriber.

Rear fender light delete and tube re-weld is the best Visual mod for this bike . Changes the look entirely .

Bike looks good! You can get the stock bars under the top of the triple clamp. You just have to take the top off first (3 screws on top and 2 under the top piece 25 nm), and then lower the headlight a little bit. You might want to check out the single riders seat from Sahara Seats. It is shorter, thicker, and way more comfortable, than the Diablo seat. I think you had a Diablo seat on your bike before. The Sahara Seats short seat is the seat you think you are getting when you see Diablo modified bikes. It changes the whole look of the bike. Your thicker tire upgrade has me interested!
Also, what did u mean the gas light was coming on before you added the Power Commander?
Thank you so much man! I will absolutely check out that seat. I do have the Diablo Seat that I feel works so nice.
Running the DNA filter and the Diablo Exhaust System, the mpg drastically decreased where the gas warning light would begin to flicker at about 50-60 miles after filling up. With the Power Commander V, the gas warning now comes on around 100-120 miles after filling up which is back to normal :)
Such a well built bike pitty about the animosity against a Indian built bike.
I ride with Harley Davidson riders occasionally & the first thing they say is "Will it keep up" I reply "Of course".In fact it keeps up easily & is faster than a 883 to 160kmh where stock bike or one without big bore headers will be near max speed as 883 probably has more top end.
On the rides I have done have kept up with 1580cc Harley's with ease & when you reach the Twisty corners the big Hogs are know where to be seen & 883 & 1200 will be behind only just in the mirrors.Harley's are a great bike but the R.E 650's are better for touring when you upgrade seat & you don't suffer from swamp ass like on Hog.Very capable bike not much vibrations & great torque delivery from low down 2000rpm where you use it so you're making the most of the power unlike other bikes where torque is not used until above 3300rpm & at 4500rpm you're braking the speed limit.That is why R.E 650's are such a fun bike to ride & is a great platform for customizing
& can become a great bike with the addition of Yss fork upgrade & Air filter,slip on's & seat.Become even greater bike with big bore headers pumping HP up to at least 53hp up from 47 & torque is the biggest increase from 52Nm to at least 73Nm which just won't keep up with 1580 Hog but blow them away.
I see the Gt cup where they race Continental 650 in India has a Continental Cup in America a women's league.American men are still in the mindset it's only a 650 it's to small but if they ride one or with one in a group will be surprised at it's low down torque.I ride with Harley's alot & they really impressed with it's performance but at first think you're going to hold them up.I have gapped them through the real mean twisty stuff.

Looking good! Looks a lot smoother than stock with the rear mods you've done. I plan on buying this bike as well. Do you think 150 tyres would fit on the rear, and 130 on the front?
Thanks! I believe I have saw 150 in the rear, but it's best to ask the RE dealer to make sure and maybe check out the FB RE groups who have better knowledge. My 140s fit amazing and feel so much more sturdy

you can add an aftermarket fairing too...it will make it look like an expensive classic ducati ....aftermarket fairing of this bike looks so cool...RE makes them as aftermarket accessories

Bravo! This is a great customisation of the Ice queen GT. For me, the biggest issue I have is with the Pirelli, very unstable. What are the precise dimentions you've set? 110 still by 90? And 140 still by 70?

nice bike. i just picked up a gt650 in british racing green but i prefer the mr clean chrome tank. the dealer was charging 2k more for that colourway for some reason lol. i found someone on ebay selling genuine royal enfield gas tanks for like a few hundred bucks. do you think i should pull the trigger on a chrome mr clean tank?
I've always liked the look of the chrome! It's really up to you personally
I have heard that in direct sunlight, the chrome tank is a bit blinding, but if you do decide on switching tanks, it's easy for most shops to do! Recently had to have mine replaced since there was a pinhole in my original Ice Queen Tank. Kept same colorway.

I have yet to ride the Truxton RS but I have rode on the Street Triple RS and honestly, Triumph is a better manufacturer of bikes as far as feeling more upscale, better parts, etc. The Royal Enfield GT 650 is a fun, reliable, and cheap bike that you can customize the way you really like!
I would say Triumph if money is not an issue, but value and bang for buck, Royal Enfield all day.

Compared to the GT you'll appreciate it more just because you've put time and effort working on it and customizing the way you want it to look and feel. Again great bike and content!

Hey there! I’m not too sure which security prices you are talking about, but we kept all the same controls and simply unclamped the clip ons and made it lower :)

Nice bike. What do you mean by youd go 50.miles before the gas light came on, pre power commander? I too did full free flow system on my 650 and wondering about tuner vs Booster Plug.

With the Diablo Exhaust system, and before I got the Power Commander V, I was getting about 25 miles to the gallon. Now with the Power Commander V, I am backup to 50 ish miles per gallon :)
@@EspressoRacer No offense...but it's a little hard to believe that the mods you mentioned have actually doubled the gas milage. Perhaps the blinking gas light is not the most accurate way to judge that? Congrats on the increased milage...but 50% more would be quite impressive indeed.
@@hawkrider88 Hey there! I see what you're saying, but I will say that the gas light was congruent with the amount of gas (in gallons) that I would put into the motorcycle between fills. The Power Commander V made a huge difference in milleage :)

Hope you see this. I'm looking to get my first bike, and it's down to the Honda Rebel 500 and the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. It's mostly for weekend rides along the coast, although I'll probably use it for town rides too. Which do you think I should get? I'm about 5 8 and 170 lbs.

Definitely get the GT 650. The rebel 500 is a good first bike but lacks a lot of power once you’re done with the beginning stages of riding. Dm me on Insta if you need me to get into more details! @espresso.racer

I don't know exact amount but I can estimate I put an easy $3-4k in mods
Major repairs / maintenance of roughly $3k throughout my ownership (5 years - 17k miles)
