...a lot of lack of historical sense to justify "vintage"...!!! "Vintage" is actually chrome and polish. There's nothing "vintage" about this whole tendency to "black paint" everything." What you should have said was: "we painted black this and that to create a contemporary look for a vintage style motorcycle!!!

Making the crankcase cover black isn't making the bike more 'authentic'. On the contrary, sixties bikes were always polished metal. These mods have ruined the bike imo.

It looks cool as a cafe racer, but it seems a bit much of a hipster if it can't race at all. Maybe some day I'll get a GT version when it's got 1000+ cc engine.

In my opinion ... Not a bad set of ideas that people can use some/all/none as they wish. It's not a 100% Blue print, BUT IT MIGHT just make you think?? Should those part's be black, trendy Wendy, or Chrome?? Do you go (CLICHE ALERT) Old School or New Wave Cafe / Café Racer look?
If it makes you think .. "Oh Ok! Yeah That's Cool" or "Pass me a bucket, I want to rant and rave!" .. it's done it's job!!
Excellent ideas!! Some I liked and thought ... "I was thinking about that!" ... And some were .. "Nah! Not for me!"
