I have a question no one I know can answer. After I pass my masters next month, and I will thanks to your videos. What do I need to study to take the electrical contractors test? In Michigan, you have to have your masters, and contractors license to pull permits. I can not find any info, even on my states website. They have all the info for Jman and masters, but nothing about what you need to know for the contractors test. Could it be just a bunch of laws? I know it is hard for you not being familiar with michigan, but I thought i would ask anyway. thank you!
Thank you so much for all the time you put into these videos, I really appreciate it this course was awesome and I gain so much knowledge due to you and this awesome program, again tha k you so much and I look forward to tackling this exam and becoming the best licensed electrician I can be !!!!!!!
Hi Perry, I hope and pray that you and your family must be safe from corona virus When you a lunch video Tap rule conductor, according NEC 2017. Regards
I appreciate that brother, I will have it launched ASAP I am taking leave of absence from work right now helping my father recovering I cannot wait to get back to full swing Thank you for the support! Take care!
Let's say in the field we have a distance of 300ft to our appliance that we are calculating voltage drop on.. do we need to double our distance to account for the return conductor or grounded conductor?
When using the Ohm's law method to solve voltage drop you will use the total length of wire there and back, when using the formula method that I'm teaching here who you will use the total distance one way! There are other types of voltage drop that you will use the total length as well, but for the formula version which is the easiest you will just use the distance one way in the inputs. Excellent question!
I really want to thank you for your time making these free videos for us you are the best thank you and God bless you

Respect. Question: running underground service. 300 feet to a 200 Amp panel. Need to check on wire size. 350mcm? Table ???
Looks like copper is going to be 500 and it's still a little over
So 350 is to small? What if it is 270 feet?
If I install 350mcm what will happen. House has gas
Can you direct me to nec tables I have the book
How many square feet is the house?
