Excellent videos, I recommend for anyone that is studying for the Electrical Journeyman. The NEC can seem overwhelming at first but stick with it and try to visualize the information and how it is used. These videos do a great job of breaking all this information down and simplifying it in such a way that helps understand the information and how it is applied in the code.

Got a lil confuse at min 25.18 you said copper and the question reads aluminum! Sometimes I’m doing other stuff and I’m just listening got the ? Wrong but I read the ? And fixed my mistake!! Good stuff coach 👍🏼💪🏼

why we only used the 90 degrees colunm and not the 75?
i mean casue when we size wire we mostly used the 75 degree colunm casue terminals are always 75? im just confused
Keep Grinding my friend it takes some practice and you will get it! We use the 90°C column if we are making adjustments/correction as long as the wire is listed in the 90°C column. This is a really tough one but with time it gets easier and easier!!

I actually passed my JM exam thanks to your help and now giving exam for masters
At 11:57 the question states the wire in terminating on 75⁰C but you use the 90⁰C column the whole way through. I do the questions before you walk through them and none of the answers worked because I did it with the 75⁰ column. Was that your mistake or am I missing something? If the question states terminating at 90⁰C I would have used that through the question.
To follow up I guess my confusion is that THHW is in both 90⁰ and 75⁰ column so should I always go with the higher temp rating if the wire is THHW or XHHW since they are in both columns?
