I had some keys(space bar, back space, enter and all arrows) go out on my laptop and used your tutorial to take it apart and check the ribbon cable. My laptop is working again and it didn't cost a thing! Thanks for such a great tutorial!!!!!

This keyboard is the most complicated one to remove out of all the notebook computers that I've worked on. I really appreciate your help! A happy November to you! :)

@mezman17 The black part is like a latch. Lift it up and it opens up. I t remains attached to the board and you life out the plastic connecting strip
