As a Delpo fan, i don't think 2016 Olympics is his best. Maybe his most emotional and inspirational one(cos he was just returning from an almost career-ending injury). I'd say he played his best 2-setters in Shanghai 2013(even though he lost the final to Novak) or Basel 2013. One reason: backhand! In Rio, he could only slice with it. It was a major weakness in his game. His forehand was brilliant though. And sure, he did beat both Novak and Rafa, but Novak was too passive in that match and Rafa was having a terrible year overall(not as bad as 2015, but still terrible)
@@jay_kulina thats why his performance at rio was even more impressive!! Not having a backhand, makes this achievement even more worthful. I mean, he had to readapt his entire gamestyle to not risk his wrist, and still managed to win against djoko in his best prime. The delpo's forehand at Rìo may have been the best forehand I`ve ever seen. Its a thing of beauty
It might be a little quirk of mine, but I love it when players who are usually more lowkey in their emotions (like Federer and Del Potro) let out emotion like at 9:05. For me, it's kind of cool and epic.
ojalá vuelvas delpo, te extrañamos
The Del Potro Djokovic match up is something else. It's like he forces Djokovic to try and out hit him which produces some ridiculous high octane tennis.
Nole & Delpo are the two players I love most in tennis.
One of those guys that will beat anyone when he's on
Non-sleeved delpo was insane
Delp at his best. Que grande che.
Amazing tennis player!😘
Crack !!!!!! 😍😍😍😍💖💖💖💖
Biggest forehand ever .we miss Him
Que grande Del Pecho!
I love seeing Del Potro beat Novax DjoCovid
stfu hater, I hope you love seeing nole as he keeps winning trophies 😉
love all these winners vs DJ
As Argentinian, I prefer having these wonderful players like Del Potro or Nalbandian, or Messi in Football, regardless of the amount of titles. We need to reach another level as a Country first to really compete with Europe or USA. Talent is not the problem, sadly for us, beign Latin american is in itself the real challenge.
Maybe the best future tennis player, only the injuries stop that fantastic giant!
@tennistv please upload the entire Djokovic del potro match at Rome 2019!
goodbye Legend
my favorite player
Miss this guy and Stan!
